Venturing into the depths of the sunken valley is no small task, so you will need some decks to take along for the ride!
I will be posting 2-3 decks from each class; one of which will be a reno deck (highlander) and the others being my guesses for the best archetypal deck for each class. Do bear with me as these decks will all go through significant changes based on your feedback so please provide constructive criticism!
Hunter:
The clear winner of the expansion might just be the hunter class, with powerful additions to the quest hunter archetype as well as intriguing options for a beast hunter shell. I am happy to see the face hunter support is on the lower side compared to most expansions.
Using the existing shell of quest hunter tools like Arcane Shot / Quick Shot / Aimed Shot (If the card has "Shot" in its text your probably playing it!) and the addition of Marked Shot (BIG surprise there...). The class has the ability to churn through its quest stages while being able to control the board against aggressive decks and send face damage against control or solitaire decks. The naga's introduced for hunter are the strongest for any class and provide a lot of burst for a deck that would sometimes run out of gas against control decks. Twinbow Terrorcoil, Raj Naz'jan× 1 and Queen Azshara all add damage and this will come in handy with the addition of Reno Jackson to the meta.
I am working on a highlander deck for hunter but to be honest it really isnt going to be very good, If everyone would rather see me make a beast hunter, do let me know below!
Demon Hunter:
I am not quite sure how to evaluate this class after the rotation of so many key cards for existing archetypes. I really wanted Nethrandamus to be a part of the core set to top of these token strategies especially with the loss of Expendable Performers but alas, that was not the case. Quest lost its single most important card in Glide (It was useless for many-a-month but oh was it good in this deck) and I doubt its going to be any good especially since Sir Finley, Sea Guide does not progress the quest...
Fel DH is the likely candidate here and maybe fusing token with fel is the best bet moving forward.
My take on a hybrid between Fel and Token DH. Since the fel decks aren't going to be running quest anymore (its so much harder to complete!) I thought of adding the best token cards and seeing what it can amount to in Feast of Souls (this card might make quest token a thing??) and Wrathscale Naga. I do believe these will be separate decks in the meta but wanted to see the community feedback before I experiment further!
Working on a Reno deck but like hunter, it will not be very good because your just going to make the deck more inconsistent and DH does not have those powerful standalone cards to warrant a good Reno deck.
Druid:
Nobody is going to be sad to see cards like Overgrowth and Fungal Fortunes leave but where does druid go from here? I really expected to see Breath of Dreams in the core set but the Nourish buff is a welcome change. Im not going to be building a Kazakusan deck because I am sure everyone is sick and tired of seeing it!
I really like the idea of Quest druid with the naga engine providing the draw it lost from rotation. These cheap Nagas synergize well with the gameplan and can offer you some chip damage before the quest reward kicks into gear.
Mage lost tools from almost every deck, but the biggest blow is Mask of C'Thun. The Mech mage archetype has been pushed really hard and some of these cards should prove to be problematic atleast in wild, lets see how it does in standard.
Warlock finally spent some time in the sun during the year of the gryphon with the power of The Demon Seed but the card rotations nearly cripple the deck from its current state with the loss of both Raise Dead and Backfire. The Zoo archetype has been more or less dead and the return of Imp gang boss might be too late as the card doesn't really hold unto 2022 hearthstone standards. The Murlock cards all seem cool but I do not think the class has any direction as of right now, giving us murlocs in the expansion but adding discard synergies from the core set?? The class is all over the place right now but Renolock will always find a way into a meta as an average tier 2-3 deck!
My take on renolock in 2022. The class has always had good standalone cards that never had a reason to be used together until Reno Jackson said hello. The deck packs a ton of healing + removal with Neeru Fireblade being your most prominent win-condition besides waves of beefy bois along the way.
I will make a detailed guide (you guys already know its always 1200+ words) if any deck from this thread hits 5 upvotes!

Highlander druid is also very iffy and your basically pigeon holed into running Kazakusan since Hedra the Heretic and Sheldras Moontree directly counter each other...
Just these 3 classes for now, I am working on the rest!! I will be updating this post regularly as more theory crafts get ironed out!

Fusion of mechs and nagas to keep the deck in gear (ba dum-tss) and maintain tempo while discovering burn options or utility.

Paladin: Losing librams are gonna hurt, nothing mush else to say. In yetms of additions, the mech package is very powerful and will see meta play.
My take on a slow highlander paladin with draconic win conditions. Equality at 2 was broken all those years ago and its no different now.
