I'm a fan of Warsong Wrangler and Encumbered Pack Mule in my rat deck, personally. I would probably swap out two of the 5 drops and the doggie biscuits, personally.
Piper is actually very hard to deal with if you play it on curve. Especially if you use the coin. What you wanna do is play piper, then play a bunch of beasts on your next turn. Late game it's worse, but I think it's a lot harder to deal with if you play it behind a big taunt.
Warsong Wrangler doesn't seem right to me, this isn't really that sort of deck... but Encumbered Pack Mule is a good idea. Doggie Biscuit is good because it can both buff a cheap minion, or give an expensive minion rush for 1 mana.
Loving this deck, it's a lot of fun. I think I could probably smooth out the curve a bit, though.
Hmm, it looks cool.

How often does piper get value, too?
Devouring Swarm is my guess. Add some Wolpertingers (played after Piper), and it's a lot of value if you're trading into something big.
