Greetings! I have some theorycrafted decks with the new cards from Alterac Valley and I wanted to share them. There are some meme decks and some that I think have high potential. Lets start with a deck I love but probably wont see much play:
I have played this archetype in the past and I think its a fun deck. The Frozen Buckler - Shield Shatter combo made me revisit the deck, but these cards have their own uses in a deck like this. You care about armor because of Bladed Gauntlet, Heavy Metal! and Geosculptor Yip so the Buckler seems good. For the Shield shatter you have ways to make it cheap, mainly because of your hero power. Weapons Project could also help, and its also good to destroy weapons like Ancharrr.
The next deck is a slightly modified version of a not-so-popular, but in my opinion still decent deck:
So its discolock with a twist. Normally you dont see Frenzied Felwing in a discolock, but I think it makes some sense in an aggro deck like this. The reason we run it because if you use the new card Sacrificial Summoner on it, you can summon a Doomguard on turn 3. The other use of the summoner is to use it on Silverware Golem so you have a 50/50 chance to summon either the Felwing or the Nightshade Matron in the very early game. Is it highrolly? Hell yeah, but that deck was always about highrolls.
Next up we have an upgraded version of handbuff paladin:
We have 25 old and 5 new cards in this. Saidan the Scarlet just screams about handbuffs so we need to include him. Stormpike Marshal is a card that was missing from this archetype's arsenal. A cheap minion with really good stats and taunt. And last but not least we have Irondeep Trogg. IMO this card sucks without buffs, but with buffs it can win the game on its own against certain matchups.
The next deck is a shaman deck. That has Reno. And Shudderwock. And frost spells. And Galakrond. What can go wrong?
Im not sure about Snowball Fight! but I want to try it. Zentimo has many uses including a Windchill that draws for 3. Wildpaw Cavern got mixed reviews but I think its pretty good (BTW how its not a frost spell?). Snowblind Harpy seems consistent enough with 5+1 frost spells (1 from the elemental) and the rest pretty much explains itself. Snowfall Guardian is an anti-combo with Shudderwock so right now I excluded it, but its possible the its still a fine addition to the deck. Bearon Gla'shear seems way too slow and not high enough value but I might be wrong about this.
The last deck is what Im most excited about. Burgle rogue, but we cut the bad cards:
First of all we need to talk about the interaction between Wildpaw Gnoll and Maestra of the Masquerade. Your mulligan doesnt count, but cards after that you draw do. At first I wanted to play Tess and the new mini-Tess spell, but I have realised that they are way too slow and this deck is not about value, its about tempo. Underbelly Fence, Double Agent, Vendetta and Wildpaw Gnoll are our payoff cards for burgling cards and using Maestra. I didnt want to include cards that are generating just random cards, I wanted to include the ones that allow you to discover. Im not 100% sure about Ethereal Peddler, there is a good chance I replace it with Shadowstep, but thats gonna be the deck Im trying on day 1. Coldtooth Yeti is a card that I think is underrated, IMO its pretty good especially with Foxy Fraud. There are many cards that I want to try with this deck but for now these are the 30 cards that seem best to me and Im really hyped about this deck.
Thats all folks, as always any constructive critisism is greatly appreciated!
Burgle Rogue looks fun (although probably not too competitive at high legend), I find Ethereal Peddler a bit too expensive (Rogue never wants to pay 5 mana for a single card).
Reno Shaman is probably the most competitive of all the decks you posted and the most fun as well. I like Barista Lynchen in Reno Shaman (more than Bolner for example) and probably I'd tech in a Golakka Crawler as well

You are probably right about Peddler. In Reno shaman I think there is place for Barista (usually I use her but I had to make room for the frost spells) but I like Bolner better. Pirate-eater is a good tech card for sure, but Im hoping for a slight change in meta and on day 1 I dont want to tech against PW (even if maybe I should). I also want to mention that I have high hopes for handbuff pally in terms of competitiveness,
Excuse me mister but it seems you've made an assumption that any decks will be possible to play while questline pirate warrior is here :(
Excuse me mister but my theorycrafts are not about getting the highest winrate with some netdecks. Its about theorycrafting, and every deck is playable. Some of them are even favored against the boogeymonster, but thats really not the point of this thread.

I feel ya man, i also don't play for the winrate but for the fun. The problem is that it's difficult to have fun and reach some higher cost cards to play them when every match is against autopilot warrior :(

If you are playing for fun, you can just try one of my or your theorycrafts on day 1. Pirate warrior is freaking strong but its far from unbeatable. For example I had a positive winrate against them with my previous version of handbuff pally. But seriously on day 1 just try to have fun with whatever deck you like.
