HEY GUYS! I NORMALY DONT POST ON FORUMS BUT I REALLY WANTED TO GET YOUR OPINIONS. I REALLY LOVE MAKING DECKS THAT ARE EXPERIMENTAL AND BASED OFF OF SOMETHING LIKE A C,THUN DECK BASED AROUND HP LOVECRAFTS CTHULU. CARDS LIKE CONVINCING INFILTRAITOR AND MASS HYSTERYIA REALLY FIT THE BILL. AS IVE PLAYED FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS IVE NEVER REALLY SEEN GIANTS BEING USED MUCH, ESPECHEALLY DECKS BUILT AROUND THEM. SO THIS INSPIRED ME TO CREATE A DECK BUILT AROUND GETTING GIANTS QUICKLY ON TO THE FIELD. AFTER SOME TINKERING AROUND I THINK IVE FINNALY MADE A DECK GOOD ENOUGH TO BE COMPETITIVE. IM DOING REALLY WELL WITH IT BUT IM SURE THERE COULD BE MORE IMPROVMENTS. PEHAPS THIS DECK HAS ALLREADY BEEN MADE AND I JUST DONT REALIZE IT BUT I NORMALLY DONT GO ON FOURMS OR LOOK AT THE META AND JUST LIKE TO DO EVERYTHING BY HAND SO TO SPEAK. SO LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GUYS LIKE IT (OR NOT) AND WHAT COULD MAKE IT BETTER. ID REALLY APRECIATE IT.
Doesnt work, cant deal with aggro, cant deal with control, you either cheat out sea naga on turn 2 or 3 with bloom and play some giants or you lose.
^ yes.
in general, i'm a big fan of creative druid decks, so this concept is neat to me and i think you're onto something. that said, you need some tools to make sure you can survive the first few turns as well as ways to circumvent getting your board cleared. sea naga would work better than satyr imo (since it would change all the minions in your hand instead of just one, and do it immediately instead of turns later), forest guide seems unnecessary as a whole - would be better to include either swipe or something else to help manage the opponent's board.
ya its definitely weak against field clears. I used forest guide because hes relatively cheap cost and I kept running out of cards in hand so I figured forest guide and satyr would make a good combo. I didn't even know of sea naga so im going to put that in as its a lot better. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it! The main problem I'm experiencing now is running out of cards other than that its working better than I expected.
thanks for the reply. I actually didn't know about sea naga as I rarely ever play druid but it would definitely be a lot better. Aggro can be troublesome but for the most part im hit with weak minions at the early stages so I put khartut defender to recuperate some of the health I lost and with innervate and satyr I can get it out pretty quickly or other giants that have had there cost lowered for whatever reason. it could be because im at early stages still. would you recommend any tools I could use or how this deck could be reinforced?
innervate is useless here..rather overgrowth or oakens summons. Emiggen is far too greedy for already greedy highroll deck. Finding use for tentacled menace is good...another reason its dumb to have 0 cost cards in your deck. This is a really ass deck.
well im not sure what an "ass deck" is but innervate is far from useless especially if you get it in your opening hand and even more so if your going second. Emiggen would be greedy if i didn't have cards like innervate in it. If i replaced with the cards you mentiond then id really be screwed against aggro decks. also I never use emiggen unless I have or am about to play barnabus, which is easy enough to do as using cards to substantially lower the cost of my cards is easy to pull off because of there low (0) cost. Tentacled menace is good as it can switch the cost of a 12 cost giant with a low cost northshire cleric for example. Yes you run the chance of pulling a low cost or 0 cost card but almost allways you can still play the card as your at least on 5 manna and this deck is built to lower costs. And lets be honest, hearthstone is all about luck or taking chances. You cant have a perfect deck. all in all the giants all work together. If you cant play one, most likely you can play another. Which is why its important here to have cards letting you draw. Its not what you play its how you play it.
I like the naturalize but im not sure of the earthen scales or Arcane giant. Arcane giant relies on spells I've cast and my opponent keeping cards in there hand seems more reliable but I see your point about oaken summons now. ya thats good. thanks for the advice
I checked out sea nagga and im not sure this is really good in my deck. it costs 8 and by the time I get it out my cards costs will cost less than 5. The problem with it is that it doesn't lower the costs, it just keeps them at 5.
If you change your giants cost to 5, then read the text on the giants cards, you might get surprised by the outcome. Also, naga was nerfed for that exact reason.

Ah nvm, i just saw your join date.
When you give sincere and solids reason why a deck is bad and they try to counter. LOL.
