I was just curious if anyone had some ideas for a standard deathrattle hunter. It seems like there was an obvious push in that direction with some of the new Scholomance cards, but I really haven't seen this become a thing. Any idea why?
I tossed together a deck that I think should theoretically work, but I haven't tested it out, since I am missing some of the cards.
Welcoming thoughts/criticism/changes to my build. And why don't we see more deathrattle builds?
EDIT: Made some changes to the build based on suggestions below. Think it looks a bit stronger.
It works fine. It's just not as good as face Hunter. Five of the classes are currently running silence, and in addition, priest can steal deathrattles pretty easily. That and the general lack of strong deathrattles makes it a hard type for this expansion. But it is fun!
You might want to reconsider some of your deathrattles to not dilute the pool for Vectus. I guess it's a trade off. You could also include eggs and Teron Gorefiend. I can't help but put Al'ar into my deathrattle decks, just for fun.

Makes a lot of sense, I can see priest bullying this deck. I agree that Teron would be a great inclusion though, if I were to go ahead and build this deck I'd probably take out Vectus and add Teron.
I made a very similar deck when the expansion dropped and had about a 50% winrate with it. I had Nine Lives and Teron Gorefiend in it too for some added punch.
Misdirection is a matter of taste but can be life saving. Freezing trap would fit too. Both have their moments or might be weak.
I did overrunn priests in lategame with primes. So if you like Zixor this is the right deck.
Prime target for the wildtamer is usually the griffon. It´s a key card. The less other beasts you have higher the chance to draw one important with +2.
Porcupines are cool to combo with lions. So it´s an option to use them not phase stalker + misdirection. But i feel mana curve, draw and surprise effect are stronger. Also you want to draw your important beasts not some 1 cost stuff.
Thedecks weakness is healing. It´s not as fast as aggro and Khartut becomes the win or loose draw in many of those matches. I used Veranus and only one Khartut which can some slower matches....
I added the Guardian Animals package for some late-game options as well as Headmaster Kel'Thuzad because the synergy with Professor Slate is *chef's kiss*. It's a fun deck but is not... very competitive. I find that it's a little slow most of the time.

Vectus in hunter should commit to the prime meme imo, so only 2 deathrattles in deck.
Doesnt have the rush tutor.
Fun > Meta

That's a good point, I completely forgot about Diving Gryphon.

Thanks for the input.

It's the kind of deck that would have wrecked people years ago, but now you need something bigger than 5 free damage out of a lion.
Hi
Made one too. ;-)

I've been playing around with this deck for a while, which seems kind of similar to yours:
I added the Guardian Animals package for some late-game options as well as Headmaster Kel'Thuzad because the synergy with Professor Slate is *chef's kiss*. It's a fun deck but is not... very competitive. I find that it's a little slow most of the time.
I also like the deck posted above mine, I think the addition of Misdirection is a great call.
