OK guys, so this might have been one of my longest hiatuses yet, I only have cards from the oldest expac (and classics) and can't build anything.
I currently have about 9k dust though, so I can craft something.
My issue is that I have no idea what is going on in the game right now. I was playing control shaman mostly last I played (with shudder and kragwa and stuff) Or some variation of a more tempo focused shaman deck, even using murlocs or elementals (or both). Nearly all those cards I was using are gone now though.
I have been looking at the shaman deck at the top of the list right now, and I think ity looks like I'd enjoy it. The creator warded me off it though and said not to craft it (actually advised I just play demon hunter)
So with this in mind, any ideas on which class to invest a bit of dust into please? I'm pretty much at a blank slate here. I do have cards, but I don't think many are viable right now. (can we still sync our collections to this site?)
I really would just like to get into some games, complete the quests I have saved for free card packs and then progress from there, but really at a wall here in terms of what to actually play.
PS: I'd totally dust cards to get more dust if there was a deck I was really into playing. plenty of stuff I have will be dusted next year anyway, so not an issue.
Depends on what you like to play. I suggest decks with the full 2 rotation lifespan being much better investments. Stay off any Galakrond Lists and decks that rely on cards rotating out in a mere 8 months (highlander).
Best decks that meet these prerequisites are Weapon\Stealth Rogue, Malygos Druid, Control Warrior (When bombs leave it will just run things like Rattlegore), Any Demon hunter archetype although I suspect all its class legendaries that released with the initiate set may rotate out as there is no way they will let the class stay with 4 classic legendary beyond the reset in 2022.
Also, did you choose a free deck yet? Returning players get options for a free deck!
I don't know what the deck lists are after the new expansion dropped.

yeah I chose the mage deck at the time (i picked this up earlier this year when I popped my head in to see what was happening. I picked the mage deck as it had the best value. I still have the cards it came with, so I could always dust them to go towards something new.
I tend to prefer tempo and control decks mostly, also.
Did you already claimed your free returning player deck? It is a good way to find out if you still enjoy playing that class.
yeah I got the mage one, I think the cards are for a reno style deck. I picked it earlier this year. also I mainly picked it as it seemed best value, I didn't really need the deck at the time.
Highlander is gone soon and the deck costs are high. You can try the new tempo highlander mage but my best suggestions are warrior and druid. Control Warrior won't ever be a bad deck and Malygos druid is legit right now!

I'll just dust the highlander cards mate, doesn't interest me anyway, and gives me PTSD of shadow reaper anduin decks with those reno mechanics. absolutely horrible to play against (I guess big preist was even worse though, ha ha)
Yeah mate. what do you think of the high rated bomb warrior deck right now, costs 16k (or there abouts) should I use that as a template, please?

I just realised, that is your deck. ha ha :D
I think I will craft this anyway. looks good. going to watch the vid on it now.

Aggro rogue stealth, it is pretty good and cheap.

some things never change :D
I do have some rogue cards already. I have edwin and hesitbaron as well, if they are used. I also have the barista as well.
also my free legendary can be used by both rogue and mage, so I can probs use her in a rogue deck.
PS: the mage deck at the time was a reno type deal. that's the free one I got.
EDIT: I might make bomb warrior. I am a bit shy on the dust, but I can probs make that by dusting stuff I don't need (from rotating sets)
I have never played control warrior neither, so it's something new to me. is it a fun deck, please?
