So the spell damage package Shaman got looks interesting. Theorycrafting this deck has been even more interesting as I've found a few different ways this deck's shell could look like. I think this deck has great potential in Standard, if not at least a fun deck to play. So let's discuss some pros and cons, deck shells, and when the expansion hits give our thoughts on performance and potential cuts and things to include.
Here is a version of the deck that I find most interesting.
Almost all the cards you've put in here are pretty appealing. The exceptions are Intrepid Initiates and maybe Frost Shock. I'd definitely cut the Initiates.
In general I think your curve is too heavy to make Voracious Reader really fantastic; the 3+ mana cards will pretty much always get stuck in your hand and prevent the early triple draw you want. But I'm very torn about whether to lower the curve or to drop the Voracious Readers. In my theorycraft spell damage shaman (which still needs work, so I won't be sharing it in this post), I dropped the Voracious Readers and added Gadgetzan Auctioneers instead. But I'm far from certain that's a good plan.
I'd probably favour Bloodmage Thalnos over a Spellbook Binder, since it's both Spell Damage & Draw. I'd also consider Surging Tempest over Intrepid Initiate, we don't always want to be throwing our spells around unless they're generating more spells, and Surging Tempest is a huge stat line for a 1-drop, even without an overload package.
Obviously a bit meme, but here's my take on Spell Shaman going down the route of the Dwarven Archaeologist miracle package
With the top-end and overload Voracious Reader could potentially have trouble finding time to shine. The biggest deal I see here is that having two Sorcerous Substitutes in hand will feel clunky (although it's obviously powerful). Definitely cut it for a Molten Blast - in fact I don't see reason for the deck not to be running two of them; you could take out a Serpentshrine Portal as well for a second copy.
I think the Frost Shock should stay just for versatility's sake - freezing something can be a huge deal in some MU's. Devolving Missiles might be a good 1-of as well if there winds up being a lot of buffs or synergy-heavy minions in the meta.

Cards you could consider: Devolving Missiles, Molten Blast, Torrent, Bloodmage Thalnos. None are absolute necessities, but you do have at least 2 slots open if you drop the Initiates.
Definitely the most appealing archetype for me this expansion - nice list - the only couple of flags I have are Intrepid Initiate, Ethereal Augmerchant and Spellbook Binder

Here's my latest draft of a slower version that uses Auctioneers instead of Voracious Readers for draw.
The Dwarven Archaeologist meme is oh so tempting, but I'm pretty sure it makes the deck worse.
