I am going crazy over how good of a combo this is: Sightless WatcherUtgarde Grapplesniper, I am thinking about building a control demon hunter deck around this combo but I'm not sure if that is possible. Do you guys it's a stupid idea? If not, give me some suggestions.
It seems highly situational and not so easy to pull off. Also DH as a class has only one class dragon, which means you would have to put mostly neutral dragons in your deck, leaving little room for the various OP class cards that DH has available. Also many dragons have strong battlecries which are lost if summoned. If you want to cheat out a big dragon (or a big minion in general) it is much easier to do it with Big Druid and Strength in Numbers
I don't think it's a "stupid" idea, but not a great one either. Demon Hunter simply lacks any meaningful Dragon synergy to build a deck around it.
The combo you mention is intriguing, sure, but keep in mind that you have to play the 2 cards together, which means that you have to wait till you are at 8 mana. And to make it consistent and benefit from other cards like Scalerider, you need to add more than a few dragons, and then you wish that Demon Hunter had a dragon breath spell or a card like Rotnest Drake, just some extra synergy.
I'd wait until Demon Hunter gets some good Dragon stuff, though I doubt that it will happen before DoD rotates out. There's a better chance we'll see more big demons to support Pit Commander.
