I really like the combination of cheap cards, lots of draw and damage effects in different combinations (Wrathscale Naga, Metamorphosis, good ol' Knife Juggler). That's the recipe that made Zoolock successful, and I think DH can recreate this. With the pretty solid choice in 1-drops, Magic Carpet should make a return too, helping to maximize damage output and control the board if needed.
What do you think of my spin on Zoo DH?
I'm still not sure about
a) The spells: silence yes or no? More card draw or one more Giant or Satyr?
Thank you! And yeah, this should hurt pretty bad ;) I'm not even that big of a fan of face decks, but I think this one is not of the completely mindless variety, and the synergies seem to enticing to pass up. At least as long as the new class feels fresh.
Well, 10 unblockable damage for 7 mana sure seems like a great deal...but it could still end up too slow and/or situational. The turn you play it, it's 5 damage for 6 mana, a strictly worse Fireball. I think it'll work great in a deck like mine, but it maybe won't be an auto-include for every DH iteration.
Can't really tell it now if the deck is good, but why should I play Demon Hunter Zoo when there is already Zoolock ? Feast of Souls seems too much situational to be consistently good and you are not even playing Crimson Sigil Runner and Furious Felfin
I personally think DH will work better if it's trying to abuse the Outcast mechanic, as bonus effect is needed to outscale your opponent.

Well, nobody can, of course. I think this will work because of the great 1-drops DH has (Battlefiend in particular, while I'm not sold on Crimson Sigil Runner, but I'll test it for sure) and the amount of burn that can be generated with Wrathscale Naga and Knife Juggler. I thought about including Furious Felfin but for now I don't see a spot. May find it though, as 4/2 with rush is not too shabby. Remember that with Magic Carpet, all 1-drops have rush - that (plus Coordinated Strike and Command the Illidari) should make Feast of Souls way more reliable...but you're right, it remains situational and may not pay off as intended. I think it will be similar to Battle Rage: mostly great to keep the aggression flowing, sometimes useless with the wrong board state or as a topdeck.
I agree that Magic Carpet can definitely find a home in DH but I think you have ot commit a lot more to it. I would cut Satyr Overseer and Chaos Strike since you don't have much attack synergies, as well as Command the Illidari to make room for more 1-drops. I think Consume Magic should also go because you have a lot of Rush options, Kayn Sunfury and ways to ping your opponent inspite of Taunts. Sea Giant is cool but I'm not sure it fits the deck.
Thank you, I think you're right about a lot of points.
Satyr Overseer was in there for the token generation, but can be cut. Chaos Strike was in there for the draw, but I wasn't even sure I'd need it. I'll replace them with 2x Blazing Battlemage.
Consume Magic is not untouchable for sure, but I'll leave it in because of the card draw as long as I haven't tested it and found it useless. Same goes for Sea Giant: I have to test its effectiveness. I think especially in the first weeks people will play a lot of DH, meaning a lot of wide boards, meaning it should come out very cheap most of the time.
Murmy and Argent Squire are too small IMHO, I'd prefer 1 more attack to their stickiness. Rocket Augmerchant is risky because of the battlecry: my minions are quite small already, damaging them (or the Carpet...) doesn't seem worth it. But those last spots I can be flexible with anyway.

b) The usefulness of the "push damage trough" package, e.g. Kayn Sunfury and Consume Magic...and maybe Maiev Shadowsong too?
c) The selection of 1-drops (more damage through Leper Gnome? Maybe some tech like Bloodsail Corsair?)
but I think this choices have to be made once the deck is playable and we get a sense of what the new meta demands.
Until then, any suggestion is welcome!
Very nice deck. My face hurts seeing it though lol.

I seriously don't know why Metamorphosis is a card.
