Currently this is the deck I have been piloting since DoD launched. With some adjustments over the past month this is what I currently ended with. I went from Rank 20 to Rank 5. Definitely was a challenge to get over the rank 6 hump but I finally made it. I am just not sure if the deck is strong enough to compete with the strongest meta decks atm. The deck is super fun to pilot and seems to hold well on its own. How can I make it stronger? Would love feedback and suggestions!
I think making the curve a bit lower would help your winrate vs rogues. Also it's pretty low on draw. You have some discovers, but other than that there is only Big Ol' Whelp to draw something extra. It seems like that would make the deck inconsistent. Sadly, Paladin has trouble drawing cards. I've been trying to get a good dragon deck to work, but drawing extra stuff to keep going seems to be my main issue.
If rogues draw 4 cards that cost 0, you kinda just lose if you're no miles ahead.
I think you also need something Vs priest. There's the 4 mana taunt that spawns 3 one drops. It's not too terrible va aggro either, 1 drops arent too great at the moment.
I think highlander decks are a lot about putting tech options in your deck. You're going to need them
Atm I’m trying a version with one Mechanoegg, a Mechanical Whelp Zilleax and Kangors army. It’s good so far but I only play like 2 games a day and am only rank 8 or 9 dunno exactly.
Personally i would cut Frizz. It’s very slow and often not worth it. Also even when I didn’t played the Highlander version I had problems connecting the Buff Chain from Talritha. Equality is certainly a good option.
As much as I hate to say it, any Paladin deck with the slightest sense of flavour/fun (so not mech/murloc or whatever the fuck Blizzard is trying to push these days) is basically Tier 4, or trash (or both depending on your standards) . So no, this deck will not be able to compete, in the long term (maybe if you're lucky you might do well in a small sample space), in a high level ranked setting where Rogues run rampant.
As a long time Paladin main myself it really annoys me to see Blizzard print all these boring and flavourless Paladin mech/murloc cards in a game based on Warcraft, in which the fantasy and role-playing aspects are such a big component.
That said, if you enjoy playing the deck/are doing well, what's to stop you from piloting it? Let blizzard know you enjoy a Dragon Highlander Paladin archetype much more that others by playing it.
Deck-wise, it's probably not worth it to run Ysera and Nozdormu in this tempo oriented meta - Ysera is simply too slow and most decks can easily deal with an 8/8 with 10 mana, leaving a net tempo loss for you in most cases. I think this deck would do better with an equality / pyro combo, Scalewyrm, Acolyte/Aldor. Dragon Breeder and Dragon Speaker, while fun to use, are probably not worth running.

Yeah that is one thing I have been feeling is if I don't get a good curve of 2 or 3 drops I am always behind and card draw is really rough. I am thinking of putting in an acolyte of pain.
maybe pyromancer + equality for comeback possibilities.
id kick spell breaker as he's not viable against swarming.
Figuring out what slots to cut for them for the extra removal. Spellbreaker has had its good uses but with some decks like Zoo lock is pretty useless in most cases. Helpful against priest though!

Huh I forgot about that card, will have to look into it.

I love Frizz D: but yeah its either amazing on curve or just a 5/4 down the road with no major board impact. Though I won't like having dragons discounted is amazing when you can play multiple per turn!

Believe me I feel you there. Been playing Paladin since Beta and been trying to pilot Dragon Paladin since BRM and I have never been able to achieve legend with it. I will take a look at a good replacement for Ysera, Noz I have had too experience with with the right timing and hand and even a 4 mana or 2 with Frizz 8/8 its just a large minion that has to be dealt with.
As the title suggests I am looking for any suggestions to help improve my deck.

Yeah Frizz is kinda slow. It can be a great card if you can get the right draw. But again, since there is low draw, this card is inconsistent..

Replaced Ysera and Dragon Speaker with Tasty Flyfish and Acolyte of Pain for the early game. Up to rank 4 now!
