Specifically Im not 100% sold on having ANY former champs or questing explorer (I feel like you either need 2 or none as it feels dead). Im also not sure I get a ton of value out of barista. Anyways I would like some opinions on some changes. Also I know Hagatha is "slow" but I like the card and would like to keep it in, it's won me tons of games.
Yeah 2 giggling inventors does feel excessive, it's an awesome stall but doesn't really let me gain any ground. Do you think having the MCT is not worth it? I suppose it's pretty rare to steal 2 minions, even more-so twice. I can't say it's really "won" me any games.
I feel like storm bringer is the only suggestion I have trouble with? Also should I toss in desert hare somewhere? Or is that more for evolve shaman?
you toss desert hare in for sure, i would keep the mct but take out hagatha and stormbringer for plague of murlocs or some other tech against nzoth priest
Questing is your best play on 2. Worth keeping in just for how solid it is pre-quest completion. Personally I feel 2 is optimal. I wouldn’t cut MCT at all, in fact I’d definitely also play 2 given how much they swing a N’Zoth board. Swamp Queen is pretty dead, you can also afford to cut Former Champ, Gigglings and one Bog Slosher, was well as the Storm Bringer and second mutate to fit in the Desert Hare Evolve BS that Shaman is now all about.
You need to add 2 Evolves and Desert hares, Evolve is the best card in the deck. Questing is absolutely fine. Former champ is not necessary, if you don't like it, don't run it, and even if you like it, you not need more than one copy. As MoonUnit said, best versions cut Hagatha, Storm bringer, Giggling inventors, and Former Champ or one Bog Slosher or one Mutate for Evolves, Desert Hares and second copies of Questing and MCT. You can keep one MCT if you want, other cards are core.

I like how all suggestions just steer towards creating the deck with the highest winrate on HSReplay right now.
I like how all suggestions just steer towards facing even more Shamans in ladder. Kept track of my last 100 games. 40 of them against Shaman. (I played N'Zoth Rogue, Highlander Mage, N'zoth Priest, Tess Rogue, Aggro Mage in these matches). So innovative and unique ladder we have right now. Bored to death(Puking)

I literally said about best versions, of course i checked HSReplay stats, how often cards are used and their winrate within the decks. Not one deck though but all better versions. Decks with highest winrate have it for a reason. If you think you can beat best performing cards with a power of creativity, just play Wisps and Star Aligners or build entirely new archetype. Archetype adjustments is cutting worst performing cards/packages and adding best performing cards/packages, not inventing the bicycle.

I hit Legend with Quest Shaman last month. My build was the same as yours -Hagatha, -Stormbringer. +Questing Explorer, +Magic Carpet
I watch a lot of streams there is 100% conses cutting Questing Explorer is noob trap. If you don't look at data it feels like River Croc. If you look at data it actually is highest winrate card in every quest deck except druid. run 2.
Rabbits and Evolve is absolutely broken, but it does make the deck more high roll. I haven't played too much of the newer versions, but I don't think you are insane for not playing playing Rabbits/Evovle, but maybe. It is REALLY BROKEN
If you are looking to cut focus on your top end. You want to hit a 2-mana button every turn so you do not want so many high mana cost cards.
The easiest cut is Stormbringer. It does not say Battlecry on it. You often get one from Ethereal Lackey anyway. Although even there. I think if you run a more highroll version without Hagatha, or Gigglings I think Strombringer might be ok. Hare + Stormbringer is pretty good, esp if you can set up 5 Hare the turn before. Though, this would be a very CHEESE version of Shaman.
Cutting Barista also makes me sad. She just wants to serve you coffee. Coffee is good.

My comment wasn't meant as a nasty remark towards you guys, just an observation. It would seem beneficial to OP to teach him the ropes of HSReplay, to discover the best list of any archetype, since that's what we're all doing anyways.

So the purpose of the thread is what - to suggest playing a bad version of the deck?
Newsflash: some people play HS and try to win as opposed to ensuring their opponents are not bored.

Sorry for misunderstanding then. I don't think you automatically get the best list of the archetype simply by picking best winrate list at HSReplay, but yes, in case of popular, well refined archetype there is often only a couple of flex spots.
Add emporer Thaurissan, in your heart you know every deck starts with him ;) It rocks with shudderwock when you completed the quest and is generally a great play during mid-late game.

Hi, im doing pretty well with Quest Shaman so far but i'd like to make adjustments as some cards just feel not really "worthwhile". Deck is here:
Specifically Im not 100% sold on having ANY former champs or questing explorer (I feel like you either need 2 or none as it feels dead). Im also not sure I get a ton of value out of barista. Cut Stormbringer, One Giggling Inventor, and the MCT.
Put in 2 Evolves and the 2nd former champ

What's everyones thoughts on questing explorer? It feels like such a dead card 75% of the time?
