I'm very excited to open Dinotamer Brann, however, when I check the deck list for the current popular Highlander Hunter, I find that I lack these cards:
- Rat Trap
- Subject 9
- Zuljin
- Zephrys
- Siamat
I think Zephrys and Siamat are optional, they are more a situational win more cards than core for the deck. However, the other cards seems super related to how the deck is build, without Zuljin, I doubt I can rely on spells that much, so I will have to build differently. Can anyone suggest cards to replace?
I do have Unseal the Vault but I don't think they can work well together.
Well, Zephyrs is half the reason to play the deck, but you can play without him. (He is an excellent craft though.) You could move away from the typical build of the Highlander deck and go toward a Highlander quest deck. Not having Zuljin is fine for that build since you don't need to worry about replacing the hero power.
I think Zul'jin and Zephrys are core cards, can't be replaced. Subject 9 is a very important tool in this deck because you don't have card draw, but you can replace it, and Siamat and Rat Trap are optional but very good cards, but I think you can replace rat trap with another secret, and siamat with something like that 6 mana card that summon a minion from your opponent hand and attack it (too lazy to search the name of this card lol)
Sooo .. if dust is a problem for you, I don't think you should invest in this deck right now, you will miss some important tools.
I think Zephrys and Siamat are optional, they are more a situational win more cards
Your card evaluation here is plain awful..
Zephrys the Great might be the single strongest card in history of hearthstone the and functions as a swiss army knife.
And Siamat is a premium removal, which can provide tempo and/or value. Even on an empty board it will be a huge threat for your opponent.

Subject 9 is a pretty unique card and important to give you card draw and thin out your deck, also the secrets have nice synergie with Zul'jin obviously. Not playing Zul'jin will definitive weaken your deck by a lot, especially with Call of the Wild coming back.
Seems you are missing quite a few cards for it, as the others have stated, but I believe you can try to do it at bare minimum running power. At least you have some cards and can try and have fun with it. Good luck.

C'thun needs more attack for my full power to be unleashed.

Just play something else until you have the dust for zephrys. Playing highlander without zephrys is like playing quest druid/shaman without the quest.
Thanks guys, I can see how powerful Zephrys is, perhap because I don't have Zephrys so I don't know how important he is to the deck yet. In term of deck building, he is not core to how the deck is build though. He can slot in any Highlander deck and make it stronger, but Subject 9 and Zuljin is pretty core to how the deck is build and such for me is the dillema in how to build 70% of the deck without Zephrys.

of all the cards you listed, only zephrys is not optional. zuljin refills your board with wyrms and secrets and seeing as you are also missing rat trap and subject 9, i say go a secretless route with more emphasis on minions. of course you can keep a couple of secrets like freezing and fire trap/ snipe or whatever but you shouldnt make it the core of your deck.

You shouldn't try building this deck as you're lacking basic understading of its' concept.
First; Saying OP shouldn't build a Hunter Dinotamer Brann Highlander decks is lazy. Be creative!
Second; It IS possible to build a Highlander deck without the cards OP is missing. No, it wont be tier 1 but more then a 50% WL is possible.
Third; It doesn't even need to be a Highlander deck. You can build a more Tempo orientated / Classic style deck where you use Brann as a finisher. Hunter got enough cycle. OTK paladin and Quest Druid are NOT Highlander decks and ALSO run Zephrys the Great. Heck, seen Zyphyrs in Control Warrior. Yet again, be creative!
Hey there, you can refer to my deck list below, which I used for my last season, but honestly, craft those cards, my win rate went up by 10% after using them. For now, I guess u can swap in desert spear and secret keeper; I used brewmaster for double Brann
Do not touch this deck without Zul'jin and Zephrys the Great, if you desire to even come close to the efficiency of the original deck. In fact, do not touch any Highlander deck without having access to Zephrys; he carries the entire archetype on his own.

The strength of highlander hunter lies on the cohesive use of strong standalone cards. Cards that have great influence when played ie. Subject 9, Zuljin, Siamat and Zephrys.
Any missing card does not render the deck's playability but it does compromise on the power level of this particular deck. Because you are limited to the other strong cards which on normal circumstance can play double copies.
If your intention is to have creative fun then you may replace those. Perhaps go for highlander agro mech version instead of the secret, subject 9, Zuljin version.
And if you have some dust to spare then Zephrys is a good craft because it fits in as an agro finisher and its more versatile to be used in other decks. As a neutral card compared to class card and the power level of this card is exceptionally high.
That said do not expect exceptional win rate for the highlander hunter without the other core cards. It may not even compare to the quest hunter or midrange hunter which is optimised.

Zephrys is by no means a win more card. It's a comeback, win-more, find-lethal, regain the board and clear the board card.
Just play something else until you have the dust for zephrys. Playing highlander without zephrys is like playing quest druid/shaman without the quest.
I found this deck on here, maybe it will give you some ideas of how to build your own version of a quest highlander hunter:

-Siamat + Ragnaros the Firelord
-Subject 9 +Houndmaster Shaw
-Rat Trap + Hunters Mark
-Zul'jin + Call of the Wild
And for Zephrys the Great.....I would never leave the house without Zephrys the Great these days.

RDU was using a mech-oriented highlander hunter deck not running the secret package - so you could get around rat trap and subject 9.
zu jin and zephrys are obviously great additions to the deck so just try of you like the deck without and craft them if you like it
probably you are fine without siamat as you have brann on 7, also ragnaros on 8 and call of the wild on 9 help smoothing out the curve
