Hey guys. I'm looking for serious feedback on this deck I made. I've been refining it on my own for quite a while now, but I don't know how to go on from here. In depth analysis of the cards on the deck page.
Have you tried running a bit heavier stuff like hagatha? (or even fire elemental)
Aside from that, I'm not sure if this deck is right for the current meta because of weapon removal. On that line of thought, have you tried running ooze?
It looks well built overall and I think you're right, argent squire is probably what I would remove (I think the one earth shock is okay because it can be cycled and because of stuff like edwin)
I haven't run ooze, I haven't tried fire elemental, and I'm not sure which hagatha you're talking about. If swampqueen, then yeah. If the hero card, I don't know how that would fit into the deck. I don't run that many minions, so the hero power wouldn't give me value. I'm not sure I win the late game anyway.
I meant the hero but I guess you're right. I think it's tough to assess since I don't really know what the pace of this deck is and how it interacts with the current meta. If I try it anytime soon, I'll let you know.
By the way, back in Rastakhan's Rumble I did play this archetype and one card I tried that surprised me was Hench-Clan Thug. It does compete with unbound elemental, but you could consider adding it if you feel like you need more mid-game threats. Goes well with turn 2 likkim, coin doomhammer and the occasional rockbiter weapon.
Thugs getting out of hand used to happen fairly often (here's an example from back then):
That's not a bad idea at all. It's not like I'm playing around weapon removal as is, and it fits the idea of making a big body that can't be dealt with. My only worry is that it won't be consistent enough, but I'll definitely give it a go.
Yeah it will never be as consistent as with rogue as you actually have to draw the weapon, but once you do, the high durability will make sure things keep rolling
