I started playing Control-Shaman and so far I have quite a fun time with this deck. Aggro decks were no problem so far because of all the removals in my deck. But the matches against other control decks are really annoying so far for me, because Archivist Elysiana on both sides makes the matches last waaaay to long and even a draw is possible - especially when the enemy plays Brewmaster. I don`t like that.
At the moment it seems like a dilemma for me:
If you play Archivist Elysiana the games takes "forever".
If you don`t play Archivist Elysiana you get outvalued at the end.
So my question is: Are there save enough alternatives to this Legy so you can still win against other control decks, which run Archivist Elysiana?
I thought of 2x Hecklebot, but it is not reliable to pull out Elysiana from your opponents deck. With Dirty Rat you could control die effect way saver - but sadly there is no more rat in Standard.
So is 2x Hecklebot good enough against Elysiana or are there better strategies for control decks to counter Elysiana decks without playing her for yourself?
And if you like Hecklebot as a tech card against Elysiana, how well does this mech perform so far for you against aggro decks?
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
Hecklebot feels pretty good. Elysiana is a plus ten in fatigue so it's virtually a must have for fatigue mirrors. As all the fatigue win conditions if you can either pressure them enough early or otk them you can win. Otherwise it's quite mandatory

Well if your plan is to outvalue/fatigue your opponent, then yes u have to run her to win, but u dont need a bouncer since u have shudderwock. U could also try to make a deck with a wincon, tempo plays, more big minions, malygos, cthun or hakkar.

You need Elysiana in Control Shaman. Warrior can try to counter the meta with Mecha'thun instead (even in a control shell, no OTK combo) as long as people do not run silence, but Hagatha prevents Shaman from using Mecha'thun. You beat the Mecha'thun Control Warrior though, because you can Hex the Mecha'thun, it takes the full combo to beat Shaman.
You could run Mecha'thun instead, or Nomi as post-fatigue win-conditions.
Nomi sounds like a fun idea for me. :D
If the enemy can kill the first wave you can spawn a second wave with at least 6 x 6/3s with Shudderwock (because the elementals maybe get hurt by Hagatha battlecry.

With nomi you would have to use shudder before Elysiana as if her battle cry triggers 1st your deck won't be empty and nomi won't fill the board.
Not sure why anyone is responding with any word other than "yes".
Yes.
Yes. It is.
Yes. Absolutely.
UNLESS: If you'd like to fit Boomship, Malygos, Mecha'thun, Inner Rage x 2, and Whirlwind into your deck. That's the ONLY other option.
Nomi gets Brawled. Shudderwock gets brawled a second time.

@Perky_Nips: No, I thought about Nomi instead of Elysiana - with you hope 2 boards of 6/6s are hopefully enough you outpressure the enemy.
Ah I see, yeah makes sense like someone else said unless you can get one or both brawls out it will be taken care of, also if the go to 6/3 because of hagatha then you are in warpath range. So that's 4 aoe's you would have to force out to maybe get the board to stick and out pressure then.
In Control shaman its a must because shudder gives you extra x10. Ctrl warrior should be almost auto win for a good ctrl shaman list (half an hour per game though).
In control warrior you can run Mecha'thun and Galvanizer and save a shield slam to trigger it since you generally have more than enough armor in control mirrors to kill it.

What if your opponent never plays any minion and you cannot play your brawl in order to have an empty hand before doing that? Could be a problem to be worth noting.

I made a control based shaman that tires to win without her. But warriors are painful. Dr Boom, omega devatro, omega refills, 2x warpath 2x brawl .... If a can´t lure out the second brawl before fagitue i mostly die somwhere at -7/8 fagitue ...
I starting playing a Mage Secrets & Polymorph deck in Wild to spite the Big Priests, but then I lost to a Big Priest in fatigue even though I had polymorphed his minions. I then crafted Archivist Elysiana, and whoa! I have had some epic victories over other control decks. I just won a drawn-out battle against a Bomb Warrior, and boy, was he frustrated. Bow to your queen, Garrosh!
Bonkers card, a must-craft for control.

Is there a way to fit Cthun into Control Shaman? o.O
And Hakkar should be countered by enemy Elysiana, shouldn`t it?

Btw run Elis and heckle-bot x2

Always expect the unexpectable!
Micro-Squad > Brawl > Zap Cannon
What I like about Mecha'thun in warrior is that it is always a puzzle how to win depending on matchup.
And the third and the fourth Nomi from Brewmaster, and the fifth and the sixth Nomi from the Baleful Banker?

you can safely craft her I expect her getting nerfed for sure..
