Wild is fun enough until you get to rank 5. Then it turns into a 'who can make the most over performing deck possible' fest.
I mean, I understand the freedom should be there for broken, insane things but it'd be nice if there were equal representation class wise for broken, insane decks.

While this might be true, it also describes the standard meta from rank 15 to legend...at least until rank 5 its great to play wild.
After the reset i have rank 4 in wild and rank 12 in standard. I cba to stress myself again from rank 4 in wild so i play some standard...
Wall Priest, Odd Paladin, Beast Hunter all evening long. Super lame...

Don't get me wrong. Wild is home, warts and all. I just wish that Team 5 would buff the weak and under-represented classes & decks in rank 5 and higher for Wild.
Throw a bone to people who don't like playing paladin, warlock or even shaman, please and thank you.

You can play nearly every class effectively in the higher ranks in wild though? Reno/dragon priest, odd/pirate warrior, mech hunter, aluneth/reno mage, kingsbane/odd rogue, hell even jade druid can probably make it to legend with enough games.

In theory, if you play enough and get lucky enough. My point of contention is more to the effect of certain class / deck combos have very few unfavorable match ups because they over perform. I want Team 5 to dig their heels in and really give Wild the TLC that it needs.

And I know it likely will not happen.
Besides one or two, all of the decks I mentioned are tier 1-2. Every class has at least one, most of them even more, competitive deck(s) that will do well on ladder. Even standard can't say this right now, so I don't really know why you're specifically targeting wild with your posts. ESPECIALLY when it's solely about them buffing bad cards. That won't ever happen. They have enough trouble as is setting a proper power level and making sure no set of cards exceeds that, and that's in a format where the card pool is limited.

I guess you can play many decks competitive at high ranks. I did that when i got legend and it just kept me between rank 1000 and 500. I didnt do it from rank 3 to legend tho...many decks are inconsistent and almost seem more like a fun deck, even when they are strong. For sure im also worse with some types of decks...like odd tempo mage. I see a streamer play it and it seems super fun, then i try it and go 1-10 at rank 5 lol...
It would be cool to have a bigger variety. In wild the variety of decks is huuuuge. And due to the high powerlevel some decks just destroy the rest. (Also some are easy to play).
From rank 5 to legend druids and warriors are basicly inexistent. All you meet is Big Priest, Odd Pala, Even Shaman, Even Lock, Mech Hunter
The fun thing is, other decks barely exist from those classes. So somtimes when i met a deck that wasnt one of them my mulligan was totally wrong and i lost:)
This is not meant to be a hate thread! More of a fun deck sharing thread for people who aren't enjoying Standard or don't know what to play in Wild.
*sighs*
I'm speaking from currently rank 5 and from 40 of my games only 12 of them were Big Priests. Yes, indeed that's quite a bit, but I honestly think that homebrewed decks stand a chance against literally every single one of the other decks you guys have mentioned in this thread.
All the decks that I've posted have positive winrates against most of these decks Big Priest excluded. Though the Even Shaman list goes toe to toe.
It became a hate thread because wild does indeed suck.

I play wild. This is a thread about Wild. Are you upset that somebody has a different opinion than yours?
ESPECIALLY when it's solely about them buffing bad cards.
I never once mentioned buffing bad cards in this thread or elsewhere but since you brought it up, I will extrapolate. By making under-used and otherwise not so useful cards better, I mean in an organic way like tethering them to a new mechanic (like the spellstones) or a new keyword (like Magnetic). How you make cards that over perform a little less powerful is by making mundane cards their competition.
I don't specify which cards I think (personally) overperform because that isn't the nature of this thread and I don't feel it productive to post another-other 'nerf x, shit is OP, yo' thread.

I know they do, I just wish that they would give cards and deck combos that currently see very little actual play more than a second thought is all. It does happen with new expansions adding previously unobtainable functionality to otherwise mediocre cards, I would just like to see it happen more often.

Representation =/= effectiveness. It's not warrior's fault that the majority of wild players would much rather sit and drool on their keyboard than actually think for once.
I play wild. This is a thread about Wild. Are you upset that somebody has a different opinion than yours?
No, just confused as to why you'd focus a change that would work for both formats on the far less popular one first. What could have possibly made you think that I'm upset though?
I actually agree 90%. Big Priest is for dipshit noobs with no skill but honestly the rest of the decks are fine. Such a fun format. I usually play casual with Jade Rogue and concede to Big Priest losers to not lose enjoyment.

Bit to unpack there, but I will do my best.
