does the "start of game" effect kick in before or after cards are added to your hand? if after then the effect "If your deck has only even-Cost cards..." doesnt that mean that you can have an even quest deck since the quest is in your hand not your deck?
Essentially, Start of Game effects look at your deck before the match has even finished loading. Before your opening cards are ever in your hand, Genn will see your Quest and shut down.
The question has been answered, so I will be locking the thread.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

It takes literally 2 mins to test.
The Quest disables the even effect.
I thought so too. However, I tested it out and Genn didn't trigger.
