I am one of those people who likes to experiment with decks, or I will look at 'pro decks' and try and create something close with my limited collection.
My question is, how many games do you guys generally play with a new deck before you decide whether its ok or if you need to change something.
I have 18 decks in the game, and I rotate quite often. I even change the decks in my list every week. I get bored playing the same thing in most games, so this is no different. I have favorites, maybe 3-5 decks I always keep in my slots, but I like playing new stuff WAY MORE than worrying about a pseudo-rank that literally means nothing.
Also, whenever I open a new legendary, good or bad, i look for a few decks that use them, or build my own, because why let a new card go to waste?
I'll build the best deck I can at the start of a new card-set release and play it as much as I can to climb rank with until the next season, but I might do that with more than one deck.
And I tend to play both wild and standard depending on my quests, deck strength, and what time of day it is.Yep, it really does matter.
I've noticed after years of playing this game (since beta) that I tend to get more wins from 4 to 7 pm pacific time. Not sure why that is, but I have the best results at that time. I have the worst results in the mornings and average results at noon and late night and that's with any strong deck I've been playing with.
Typically whenever I make a deck, I focus on two things, mana usage and how impactful it feels. If I make a deck that doesn't excel in either of these, I know something is wrong, with my best decks often both using all my mana and feeling powerful.
As for knowing whether to change a list, I typically play 2-3 games before I swap anything, then replace the cards that feel clunky. Sometimes I'll play extra games if I unlucky or if I get lucky. It also depends on the deck too, with aggro decks typically taking more games to refine since it is more important to hammer out any imperfections as card choice in aggro decks are much more important than card choice in control lists.
Sorry I couldn't say anything specific, but I hope this helps!

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
Just my opinion and I don't think I'm pro but I have good experience .
If you create a deck from zero you will make changes every 3 games
replace Dead cards that you couldn't play because of meta , and add cards that you wish was in your deck for answers .
I manage to make one deck that actually work and got legend with at that time , it toke really Much time and work but it feel really satisfying when you succeed .
It's better to share your original deck so people could test it and improve it .
More people mean more powerfull deck .

Hi Guys,.
Just a general question regarding deck building.
I am one of those people who likes to experiment with decks, or I will look at 'pro decks' and try and create something close with my limited collection.
My question is, how many games do you guys generally play with a new deck before you decide whether its ok or if you need to change something.
Thanks :)

Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

Lifecoach used to play a whopping 100-200 games per card change. Anything less is amateur level ;)
