tldr; should I craft Token Druid (and give me option to craft Spiteful & Mill Druid) or Odd Rogue?
As a F2P who would be stoked to hit rank 5 I've got 5400 dust to spend at the moment, with only Spell Hunter and Midrange Hunter in my arsenal. After pouring over the meta for a while and comparing it to my collection I've decided to craft the following (after Token Druid and Zoolock I then would have the option to craft Spiteful Druid for not a whole lot more dust):
Basically I've looked at a few Token Druid decks on the meta to see if there were any cards I currently had that I could use as a substitute to bring craft costs down. So for now I plan to run Biology Project for Jasper Spellstone (second guessing that after reading it's not a good idea to ramp aggro opponents), and Wrath for Arcane Tyrant. If I find that has an adverse effect on the deck I'll craft Spellstone and Arcane Tyrant - as it is saves me 1K dust though.
I love my Zoo Warlock, and it's still performing strongly. I've taken most of the cards from my deck in another region and tweaked it a little. If I can get it to work without Keleseth that would be great, but he's a big piece. I'll see how my anti-Giggling #$&%^@ cards perform.
I haven't played a lot of Druid decks, only a couple of times with Whizbang. I'm not sure whether it's something I would enjoy or not. I've played a lot of Hunter and Warlock, and I also like Rogue - all of which are completely different to Druid from what I see.
After doing all this I then had a look at Odd Rogue and noticed that it too is an option for me.
I could use Leeroy in my Zoolock deck and at least make it viable while I hope to get Keleseth. I crafted a Miracle Rogue in another region and really enjoyed playing it - and obv Leeroy and Baku have a much longer shelf life than Branching Paths, UI & Arcane Tyrant.
I haven't played a lot of Druid, but I hate playing against it (probably because it's good!) and I really enjoy playing the Rogue class. But I hate Baku with a passion! I die a little inside any time I hear "NONE WILL SURVIVE!!"
Any thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks
You're getting no responses because you're asking other people to make the decision for you, because you're scared of making it yourself. If you were to ask for pros and cons of each or play style, that would be a better question, but it sounds like you already thought about those yourself.
Odd Rogue is not OP, it's just good in the current meta. The deck barely changed since Witchwood, where it used to get wrecked by Odd Paladin (and still does, just that Odd Paladin fell out of favor). However, it has a favorable matchup vs Zoolock, which skyrocketed in popularity since Boomsday, hence the popularity of Odd Rogue. I have one I play myself, initially the deck seemed underpowered to me, but became much stronger with experience. The trick is to know when to trade and when to go face, if you waste time removing enemy minions you will lose, you have to create uncomfortable states for opponent so that they waste their turn trading, not yours.
Token Druid is a new archetype that seems very strong but underrepresented in the current meta. I don't play one myself because I like Malfurion and Branching Paths and don't want to spend the dust on them. From what I hear it's also a delicate balance of knowing when to use your buffs. I have Whizbang so I have been playing a weaker version of this deck, and it feels like a less fragile version of Odd Paladin to me. You have a lot of weaker buffs in your deck rather than 2 super buffs (Level Up) and are less susceptible to board clears. However, there are turns when you're a sitting duck because you drew a bunch of buffs and no treants to put them on. Again, my analysis is based on the Whizbang version and this is something I can remedy by putting a couple other token-generator cards in like Giggling Inventor, so this may not even be an issue in the netdeck version of this deck.
I have token druid, and it is pretty good. If you craft token druid, you'll learn how to use the controlish druid shell very well. On the other hand, odd rogue seems pretty strong, and it's a deck in wild so you've got that going for you. Honestly, they are completly different styles of play, would you rather stall and survive until wispering soul gg or play an aggro deck (odd rogue)
Edit: if you want to add me, I'll friendly you and you can borrow my token druid to see if you like it Jaybaseball1#1802 NA server
As of the crafts, I feel that odd rogue is better long term bc you have Leeroy Jenkins, which will always see play, and Baku the Mooneater will always be relevant. It's up to you, they are both very powerful decks.

Well ain't this place full of helpful people happy to share their advice....
I would love to input but
I don't play either of those decks.
Odd rogue does seem super OP atm though so you could probably make the climb.
