started playing day 1 and loved it. Stopped right before naxx due to new family, kids and shit. Just got back into it and wow I’m lost and out classed. Not sure where to even begin or how to build a competitive deck. I have almost all classic cards and some legendaries. Any help on how to build or links to any non garbage decks with these cards would be greatly appreciated.
As far as legendaries I have.
King krush, tirion fording, edwin vancleef, al’akir, dr. Morgan, Bloodmage thalnos, nat pagle , king mukla, harrison jones, leeroy jenkins, carine bloodhoof, the Black Knight, baron geddon, gruul, Marin the foy, alexstaza, ysera
So first things first, I'd reccomend you buying 10 packs of each set you haven't opened yet and play through the Knights of the Frozen throne campaign. The first 10 packs of a new set guarantee you a legendary and it'll help to get as much legendaries as possible to see what there is to work with. As for the Knights of the Frozen Throne campaign, you get several packs and a free death knight hero card as a reward.
Other than that, you have a pretty decent amount of playable classic legendaries, is there any playstyle you like to play?

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.

Thanks for the advice, i did like some control decks. Liked Druid, Warrior pally mixed with some hunter.
First, I would do what Echo_ suggested because that's a great idea if you have the money. Then I would dust Nat Pagle and Gruul to help you craft a meta deck to help you ladder. If you want to ladder, that is.
If you want to ladder and you don't know what deck to use, check Vicious Syndicate once a week for a report on the strongest/most played decks on ladder. If you don't care about laddering, and you're more in it for the fun, watch some Trollden videos or a twitch streamer for ideas!
Okay, well druid doesn't really have a control deck going for it right now, and it also requires a lot of epics and some legendaries. As for warrior, the class is still incredibly expensive but you already have some cards that warrior is using and for hunter, the class is still cheap, has some midrange decks that are pretty strong right now for the most part and actually is now using King Krush in some decks.
Out of all the legendaries you have, the ones still relevant for today are King Krush, Harrison Jones, Al'Akir, Leeroy, Alexstraza, Bloodmage Thalnos and Ysera. Not saying the rest of them are bad (well Pagle has definitely seen better days), but those are the ones that are seeing a lot of play right now.
For Druid decks, the current strong decks are Malygos druid, Togwaggle Druid and Token Druid, which both Malygos and Togwaggle both being combo decks and Token being just oldschool token. For Warrior, the current strong decks are Odd Quest warrior, Odd Warrior and Recruit warrior. All of these are control decks and all of them cost an arm and a leg due to all the legendaries they require, (that being said they are still really fun). As for Hunter, the strongest decks for it are Deathrattle Hunter, Mechrattle hunter (which is pretty much the same as Deathrattle, just with more mechs), Secret Hunter and Spell hunter. All of these decks run a few core cards that are all strong, but all of them tend to be on the cheaper side, along with all of them being midrange decks.
Is there any deck you'd want me to explain more in detail? Also, if you could keep us updated on the legendaries you get from the 10 packs and from the Knights of the Frozen Throne campaign, that can help a lot since a lot of the Death knight hero cards are absurdly strong.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I would also look at the current decks that are doing well and see what cards are continually being represented in those decks for what cards are best for crafting. Certain common and rare cards are showing up in numerous types of decks (i.e. Giggling Inventor). these cards are more budget-friendly and have a lot of value.

Awesome response thank you. Still trying to soak it all in, but I’m mainly just looking for fun decks that I can get some wins with and eventually build up a respectable setz. Now that I think about it I’m not hung up on Amy one class or play stayed now lol.
Going through frozen thrown now an that lord marrow is a pain in the ass.
I recommend you don't craft anything yet, but instead watch the following streamers on youtube:

They show off new deck archetypes they experiment with or find on these forums weekly. Just by watching them you can get a pretty good idea about how most of the netdecks as well as meme decks play, what their strengths and weaknesses are and figure out which appeal to you. In fact, some tier 1 decks started as meme decks a couple expansions ago and became tier 1 with more experimentation/support. Notable examples are Egg Hunter and Toggwaggle Druid. Also, if you already have a strong Classic set and want to jump in with minimal investment, Miracle Rogue should work well, since it uses very few new cards.
Depends on if you have a preference for a particular format or not.
If you're wanting to play wild my gut reaction says for you to go craft some Knights of the Frozen Throne legendaries (mainly the death knights). Death knights from any of the following classes staple cards in a large handful of decks for said classes: warlock, hunter, priest, mage.
Bloodreaver Gul'dan - Here is your "I win" button when versing against control decks. Card completely carries the class by generating removal that you don't need to draw into or use to take up a card slot in your deck.
Deathstalker Rexxar - Allows you to change your win condition mid game so that you are not locked into "Me go face!" strats for every game.
Shadowreaper Anduin - Hard removal for tall boards and allows a class with typically little pressure to generate plenty of it without having to dedicate towards an otk.
Frost Lich Jaina - Like rexxar this card allows you to change up your win condition during the game. It also provides a healing and value train even when pit against "infinite value" decks (decks that generate value mostly through minions and/or removal over a period of multiple turns, even into fatigue).
Well if you want to try out some new decks add me as friend. Don't know if you know about this but you can now borrow your friend's deck in a standard challenge. I pretty much have all of the relevant meta cards and am willing to let you try them out so you can figure out what deck you want to craft. If your interested just DM me.

Be careful about odd warrior. It's great if you face aggro, not so great against most everything else (except maly druid and mind blast priest), and it's expensive. Druid has a core set of cards that can be used to play three different powerful decks that are all combo or control (if you count taunt druid). Four different decks if you count maly and togswaggle as separate things. Token druid is ridiculously powerful if played right, and is probably not too expensive to build. And maly is super flexible - if you have the time to learn all the ins and outs.

IN MY OPINION these are some of the most played and best decks in the meta right now:
Odd Rogue, Heal Zoo, Malygos Druid, Odd Warrior, and Tempo Mage.
If you have any questions or anything you can add me on Battle.net. My Battle.net tag is Killua#12611.
Nice

I second the Miracle Rogue suggestion. With your legendaries (Leeroy Jenkins, Bloodmage Thalnos, and Edwin VanCleef) you can build a decent deck. Add a few more cards from recent expansions (2x Fal'dorei Strider 2x Fire Fly 2x Elven Minstrel 2x Hench-Clan Thug and 2x Vilespine Slayer) and you have the deck that was an auto-ban in the most recent Hearthstone Championships. It isn't Tier 1 anymore, but it still is pretty good.
Be careful about odd warrior. It's great if you face aggro, not so great against most everything else (except maly druid and mind blast priest), and it's expensive.
