I've burnt myself out trying to figure out exactly what cards I could/should add to the point that it's just not fun anymore. Yet I still desire to have fun. It's just a lot harder working with a shallow card pool constantly thinking "if only I had x card".
The running trend I've hit is I'll build a somewhat vaguely viable deck from my limited card pool and most times I just pull out of order. I've tried manipulating the curve to exhaustion.
I can't figure out exactly what I'm doing wrong here, but if I cannot figure a way to get something, anything, going in my favor. I'm afraid I'll have to uninstall the game.
For a more finer point, what kinds of cards am I looking for that can counter shudderwok, odd/even paladin, quest warrior, thief priest, combo rogue, because these are the decks I face the most. I don't have $100s to dump on a game and I refuse to dust again.
I've done and tried everything else I can think of at this point.
Well, that is a lot of different decks to try to counter. I would imagine it's pretty difficult with a limited card pool to compete with a bunch of net decks. There's always the arena option, but you'll also get a boost I think from the upcoming expansion since I think the meta will shift to more of a midrange game that will be more accessible to players with smaller collections.
I'm curious what sorts of decks you're playing though. Also, what ranks are you playing at and what rank would you like to reach?
Another thing is you could share your decks and collection if you'd want some feedback. I'm sure some people here would have some good advice.
Right now, running mostly druid as it's a bit more fun. But loses a ton more. Might move back to mage. At least I've got DK jaina and a couple decent elemental for it
