Hello guys, everyone is complaining about actual meta but this is NOT that tread. Although I'm bored too by the current state of Hearthstone, I try to play something different every day in order to have fun. I mean, I'm sure there are a lot of decks that have yet to be discovered, especially with Baku and Genn (odd and even). Would you like to share any ideas about? We can try to build something together.
I start with mine: I'm trying to create something that work about quest paladin,Prince Liam and Baku. Probably it will be a meme deck but I'll keep trying.
I fall at the first hurdle, though, by not owning Grumble - But the other issues I anticipate are: Not being able to stack the spellstone when drawing it too late; Playing against Cubelock (or any other taunt heavy decks); Keeping the Al'Akir/Leeroy alive for the grumble turn. So I don't think it's gonna be workable - But if I ever get grumble in a pack, I'm definitely gonna give it a good go.
I really want to make secret paladin work haha. I played two games against a cubelock and taunt druid (anything with walls of taunts crushes that archetype I've learned lol). It was very fun to play though. I drew through my deck really fast, between Bellringer Sentry and Call to Arms.
I think there could be potential? I bet it could compete with spiteful druid. I haven't played it too much so I haven't tinkered much with what cards to take out and what to put in yet. Has anyone had any success with secret paladin?

I'm playing an even mech mage built around coldarra drake and archmage arugal and it's super fun and unexpected... Sadly the power level of wild mode is too high to get past rank 10 with this deck.

I've been testing a version of Secret Paladin, albeit without Prince Liam. Maybe I just need him, but it seems to just be a worse version of normal aggro Paladin. More fun to play though, especially with other buffadin cards.
I'm 27/12 with the deck so far, some games in <1000 legend last season, the others climbing from rank 4 this one. It works actually pretty well ! Turns out 4 Heal HP is good against aggro and Archbishop/Azalina are insane against control.
I've been playing this a bunch trying to refine it, it did okay at the start but it struggled in higher legend numbers so it's probably not a good deck. (needs better card draw and sustain tools I think)
Has any of you tried a hunter deck? I'd really love to play a control hunter and NOT spell hunter. Emeriss can't be there without a reason, especially when you are so unlucky to open him. I dream a big finisher with King Krush.

I tried it before and it worked a couple of times actually. But you are more prone to die before you are able to do anything. Now that maelstrom portal is gone...

Try this. I don't have King Krush, so I didn't add it in this deck. TBH, even though King Krush could be a good inclusion, it cannot be summoned by Silver Vanguard, therefore, making your deck quite inconsistent if you draw Kathrena Winterwisp. But at the same time it can make you deck more consistent by adding another beast. If you want to replace a card for King Krush, you can try replacing a Grievous Bite or Candleshot. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this deck, it's control Hunter with a lot of bursting 10/10 charge minions. Sometime it will not work, but most of the time it will.
I didn't see any Odd Quest Priests with Archbishop. I think it can be interesting deck and maybe effective:)
I tried one and i have been crush by almost any deck lol, it was based around Quest some deathrattles, big taunt, The moth card
And to bo honest Archbishop on an odd pally make your deck weaker cuz half of your draw are now garbage for late game without any synergie. So he's not good in any situation.
Maybe refining it taking out quest or something to make it better but i doubt it could be viable in the witchwood meta, maybe with an other expansion or two.

I built an Control Healadin with OTK using Baleful Banker.
Also been been experimenting with Dire Frenzy Hunter. Works really well with Vicious Scalebane and Corridor Creeper.
I kinda had an idea of a Shutterwock-less OTK Shaman, that used 10 mana in the following way:
1 mana Leeroy Jenkins or Al'Akir the Windlord (courtesy of Grumble, Worldshaker)
2 mana Rockbiter Weapon
7 mana Greater Sapphire Spellstone

I know there was just an article on Rush Warrior, but I think mine is different enough. Really fun to play at least.
Lich King and Rotface aren't really necesary, there are other finishers that are fine. I just think those two are the most fun.
