Im too invested in results even in casual and the sheer frustration of not having the collection to make what I want and the stuff i am making not fairing too well is just draining me. please help me make a deck that isnt clunky or even if it doesnt win a lot its fun. Wild or standard is fine. i can post the decks im using now if people are interested for whatever reason. collection should be public and i only have 800 dust without disenchanting anything
What decks your playing and what kinds of decks you like may be helpful.
heres the thing, im kinda trying to get away from what i usually play. i was playing a tempo rogue b4 nerfs but it just feels bad. I got to rank 10 last season mainly with murloc paladin but i dont particularly like that deck. Its just fast and wins ya know? try to play some midrange mage, druid, and shaman but they lack real depth to them. Even with shaman and mage where i have a decent amount of cards i still lack the major ones. IDK how to make good priest or warrior decks nor do i have the cards for them. I like all archetypes besides stuff like wall zoo and decks that just vomit on the board with no direction
I recommend you start with a basic question: do you want to keep your old cards vom G&G and TGT and play Wild from time to time or not? If you decide to stick to Standard, you could dust a lot of cards, among them several legendaries, and build 2-3 decks that you like to play now.

The problem with that is the rotation is in April. Doing that kind of dusting now is a bad idea because the meta will shift drastically. No one knows what will be good or garbage then. Big cost for little gain.

Fair point, although seeing cards like Flame Leviathan, Malorne having success in Wild would be unexpected to say the least (technically same for Chromaggus and Nefarian, but since Blizzard does seem to like creating dragon-synergies here and there, why not; and you can still use them right now to fill up an Astral Communion deck :p ). They released some crazy-ass power commons like Sleepy Dragon or Violet Wurm that make expensive "meh" legendaries pretty irrelevant to keep if you're a f2p player (except if your really love them, of course).
Although even a single new set can change the Wild format (K&C's Warlock cards), it's less likely to completely be reshaped since it doesn't loose cards. At worst, your favorite Wild deck can drop by a lot, but if it was good in the first place, it will still be okay in low ranks against other weird/nostalgic decks.

You misunderstood my point, if OP decides that he does in no way, never want to play Wild, rotation and meta shift has zero influence on the dusting of GnG and TGT legendaries ;)
PS: bearing in mind you lose the occasional Tavern Brawl usage ofc
You already have almost everything you need in your collection. It's much weaker than Secret Mage for sure, but basically any decent kind of "play a handful of 1-3 drops and pew-pew Fireball" mage will win enough games ;-)
The Elem Shaman probably just need some refinements (mainly by dropping the Snowfury Giant direction); check out what's being played to give you inspiration, probably craft some more Jade cards (especially Jade Claws) and ignore Aya Blackpaw since you don't have the dusts. Although the results aren't impressive at all right now, the Elemental archetype is still a fair and decent f2p archetype thanks to its defensive aspect, the powerful mid-game cards and 1-2 lucky Servant of Kalimos :)
The Elemental Mage is also decent for the same reasons, just don't take the Secret direction since you don't have Medivh's Valet to regain on tempo, and build it more with the objective of being aggressive and generating a handful of burn spells to finish your opponent. Blazecaller can easily be replaced with Firelands Portal. Apart from the Lifesteal aspect with Jaina, it basically does the same thing if you play it on curve or to gain value :)

Fair enough on the influence part. But the point of disenchanting is to craft more cards. Extra dust tends to give people a huge crafting itch. With the rotation so close crafting anything is real ify. I would craft very sparingly at this point.
Ice Barrier is not a very useful card overall: 8 armor isn't going to last long if you are behind on the board, which is how most aggressive decks kill you these days.
I think the elemental mage deck is probably better off without secrets: Explosive Runes is good if you want to kill your opponent fast, but the Spellstone and Death Knight indicate that you're aiming for a longer game instead.
Using double Mana Wyrm when you have double Fire Fly as well might be a bit much. If you want to keep Mana Wyrm, maybe add Flamecannon so you can more consistently buff it on turn 2. Or Unstable Portal, which has synergy with Leyline Manipulator. Primordial Glyph is also a good option, but you'd have to craft that first.
Shimmering Tempest, while it fits the theme of the deck well (elemental and card generation), has a pretty poor body (1 health for 2 mana), so if the spell it generates isn't good, it puts you behind quite a bit.
A second Servant of Kalimos would give you more tools to work with; this could replace the Water Elemental. A second Polymorph would help against warlocks and also works well with the DK's hero power.
A single Flamestrike as the only AoE seems a bit on the low side, although I guess Baron Geddon also counts, but if possible you want to play that only after you switch to Frost Lich Jaina. Maybe Blizzard is a good option? Personally, I really like Meteor, but that's not in your collection and a bit expensive to craft.
For the Shaman deck, Unbound Elemental doesn't work in my experience (starts understatted and grows slowly), even if it seems like a natural fit because it is an elemental and has overload synergy. Maybe consider Fireguard Destroyer instead?
You could consider crafting Lesser Sapphire Spellstone, since it's only a rare and it works well with Snowfury Giant. Its high mana cost is a problem though when trying to combine it with other cards, so maybe not worth it when you have only a single Giant.
The Jade cards seem a bit lost there: since there are only four, you'll get a 4/4 golem by the time you've drawn most of your deck. Also you don't have many cards that do anything useful with small minions: only one Flametongue Totem, no Bloodlust, no Evolve. So I'd recommend to either add Jade Claws and a second Flametongue Totem, or drop the Jades.
Addition: Does Mana Tide Totem draw you more than one card often? You don't have a lot of taunts or early removal in the deck, so it might be difficult to keep it alive. If not, maybe replace it with Loot Hoarder or Stonehill Defender or add more taunts or something like Stormforged Axe to remove your opponent's minions.
Addition #2: If you want to win with an overload deck, craft two copies Tunnel Trogg. That card is even more broken than Mana Wyrm.
Yea that shaman deck is so awkward because its like okay i need to activate kalimos somehow and i want some kind of reward for overloading myself so i tried to make both work.
fair point on ice barrier
idk i never really liked full out smorc mage but i will give it another try. recall having instances where im just throwing stuff on the board and top decking

If you're open to Wild, one of the most fun decks I've played in a long time is Control's combo priest. Here's a recent link showing him playing it. The deck code is a pinned comment. You're missing some cards for it, but it would be incredibly cheap to make. Lyra the Sunshard and Shadow Visions are the only cards that aren't rare, common, or basic. Lyra can be replaced as well and Control actually ran a budget version without Lyra on the Asia server that he took to legend.
In playing this deck, I'd say you're forced to make a lot of decisions each and every game. I'd compare the games to boxing in a sense. Your tactic is essentially rope a dope. He throws a few things at you that don't do much. When he drops his guard you just land a single uppercut that KOs him.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
here they are
couple here. u can see im missing quite a bit of key cards for the archetypes

The Wild Mage could work if you go more into the Mech direction :

We're on the same page there. I'm sitting on 10k dust and probably wil craft only an occasional epic until rotation, not even Aluneth...
Play arena, it's the only fun left for me in this game
Casual is fun as well, if you let yourself have fun that is. Nobody said Ranked is for fun, Ranked is for winning and climbing ;)
