Guys, have no one mentioned Temporus priest yet?!? I'm dissapointed to say the least. I'm dedicating the first month of the expansion to make that deck work. It's gonna be great. It's gonna be HUGE. And! if anyone disagrees, I will simply build a wall around them.
But seriously tho, that deck has potential. Just play control priest with duskbreaker and the new 7 mana card and play Temporus when you have gathered all combo pieces.
Explain to me why this would not work, it just seems great.

Indeed, I think the people who scoffed at Temporus are going to be eating their hats.
If you can keep your health reasonably high and clear the board before starting the combo, it seems very unlikely to me that anything will be able to kill you in 2 turns.
It may not be tier 1, but a lot of people will be surprised at how often it actually works.

Tbh really forgot about Temporus. But building a wall isn't the right way to go imo. If you have a big ass wall you are already in a winning position. I'm more thinking about a genius 2 turn kill... But haven't figured out sth yet.
I want to make some kind of Mill rogue, with The darkness, the DK card and the new legendary rogue weapon
I built a theorycraft deck with this. It probably needs a little work, and honestly that probably comes in the form or removing Kingsbane and supporting cards, or the Darkness...
Ultimately my initial guide is off because you apparently can't just mill the candles and have them autocast before burning. So maybe instead of returning and copying nothing but Oracles you can do the same with the Striders to get more 4/4 autocast spells in your deck.

The problem with Temporus is that right now, there are so many Priest deck archetypes that are better and more reliable. Why would you create a funky deck to pull it off when you can just play a top tier deck with Raza priest? Plus, a lot of decks like Jade and Raza priest have no problem killing you in 2 turns.
Also, you're effectively skipping 3 turns here. It takes 7 mana to play him and he has no effect on the board, meaning you are basically doing nothing the turn you are playing him as well. You can't "clear the board" on 3 mana, so unless you managed to pull off a board clear + Doomsayer the previous turn, the opponent is going to have minions already on the board who will have two attacks at your face.
I don't think he's garbage, and it wouldn't surprise me if a somewhat reliable deck used him at some point in the future. But not in this meta, and not without some sort of Doomsayer-ish card that can be dropped in 3 mana to buy you a turn. Maybe when Standard rotates next year, and he gets a support card.

The wall he mentioned was a reference to the U.S. president, not a deck strategy.

Oooo I have two! First is basically a deck meant to destroy your own deck, fill your opponents hand, then play King Togwaggle so that the Ransom spell gets burned, decks Swap, and the opponent has no deck and no way to swap back. All possible turn 10.
Second one is a revision of last season's MIRACLE Druid but with a few new additions and a massive turn 9 boost where we play Gadgetzan Auctioneer and then break our Twig for 13 mana and then we roll through the deck.

Guess you didn't read the OP.
This thread isn't about "Which decks are going to be top tier?"
It's about "Which decks do you think will be fun to try?"
He explicitly said not to bother talking about what will or will not get you to Legend.
Depends on what I pack, but I'm interested in big warrior, big spell mage and demonlock
Fuck cubelock
Uff, I have several choices: Quest Mage, REvisited evolve shaman, totem shaman, quest druid, and whatever i open in my packs
Nice
Just made a Malygos Rogue with the new Kobold Illusionist. Thoughts?
On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3

I'm trying out these 2-

Burn Mage if I open Aluneth. But I think my answer really depends on what I get from packs cause I’m not crafting anything day 1
Mid-range demon warlock.

No-minion Hunter and Totem Shaman! I don't have Valeera, but might consider Mill Rogue if I get the Darkness card
