The name's LePotato , a Hearthstone player and I've been playing the game for about a few months now (probably more since I quit and came back to it) as a F2P player. So the past few weeks, after experiencing the highly-expensive meta made me realise that the game nowadays requires you to have Legendaries in order to get most of the competitive Tier 1 or 2 decks. I am playing it for a while , I have a decent card collection with pretty much all of the commons/rares cards (but barely have any Legendaries and don't have too many Epics) and in order for me to keep getting to above rank 5 (which is my goal every season for the free 500+ dust) I'll need to invest in some Legendaries.
At the moment I own the following Legendaries: [Classic Set]: -Cenarius -Prophet Velen -Al'Akir -Grommash Hellscream -Cairne -Ysera -Deathwing
Also I have the entire Karazhan set and I have a spare arcane dust pool of around 5000. So the question for the day is. In which way should I proceed to expanding my collection as a free to play player. Do I focus on Classic or KoTF set? Should I craft: -The Lich King (Used in alot of decks which I can put it in like Frost Lich Jaina mage or Dragon Priest or even Control Warrior) -Deathstalker Rexxar (Hunter is my favourite class and this card might see play in the future) Or should I craft something else all together like example from previous expansion Sunkeeper Tarim + Tirion Fordring + Finja to complete Midrange Murloc Paladin for which I have pretty much all Murlocs and Gentle Megasaur combo.
Feel free to post your opinion to help a free to play player out and thanks beforehand :)
I would hold off on the Lich king, especially if your thinking of a paladin murloc deck. It just doesnt fit. Sunkeeper Tarim is slightly better for that deck than Tirion, but both are good. Tirions main benefit is he is in the classic set, but Tarim will be around until April 2019 before heading to wild.
The Rexxar DK is fun.
Looking at your legendaries you have patches. Agro decks could be a good for you, or, I hate to say it, pirate warrior.
Using the Patches in my Aggro Token Druid deck. Don't enjoy Pirate Warrior too much that's why I wanted to see what's better to invest in, straight all in into Paladin or do I split it with getting some Neutral Legendaries as well.
