now i am beeing playing randuim at legend because i found it extremely fun and helps some of my oponents to arrive to legend faster.
what i found crazy is the value i can obtain from Lorewalker Cho in some of the match ups ;specially shaman and rogue. behind a taunt he can absorb one spell and giving you one, and if not it can prevent your oponent from playing theirs. (so or tempo gain or a 2 for 1, they use one spell and you get it)
i think in decks with few spells and a lot of taunts it can be a nice card in next season, post-nerf. like zoo and ramp druid. What is your opinion?
I agree it is an underestimated and rarely used card. I faced some zoo players running it, but overall almost noone is using the card. The tricky question as always is what card to replace in a deck if you want to put Lorewalker Cho in, and will it be a useful card after all? Against aggro it is certainly very bad. Against control it does not have any value if the opponent has board control and can simply trade-kill the card. If you have board control it can help sustain it, otherwise it can put you behind (in a topdecking situation) or can't be played because it loses tempo. So it seems to be situational, that's why it is underused. Not a terrible card, but there are much better alternatives in every deck.
Sure, whenever your opponent casts a spell, you get a copy, but your opponent could also clear the board with the spell, and has the potential of leaving you struggling to catch up with the tempo. You've got their spells, sure, but it may not eliminate your opponent's minions, and may only serve to slow you down.
I have Lorewalker Cho myself and I can say that he is pretty decent in a deck that fits him. However, the problem is to find a competitive deck that fits him: very similarly to King Krush, it's not a bad card, but it doesn't fit very well in any already existent competitive deck. Another problem is that you are also ''prevented'' from playing spells, which is a significant downside even in decks with few spells. I guess that if the effect was just one-sided Lorewalker Cho would be more played(even though that would probably be about 1% of the meta). Perhaps he gains more utility with the upcoming expansion, but who knows?
I got a golden Lorewalker Cho many moons ago as one of my first few legends. I never DE'd him, and I'm kinda glad I didn't since I get shiny gold cards every time he copies something. :o)
i had one when someone cast a frost nova once, that went back and forth for about 5 or 6 turns. If they use a spell to kill him though, it's nice cause you get the last laugh. He's definitely good in decks that are light on spells overall, and will throw off a Mage or Assasin for a bit.

The title is very misleading, I was expecting a Lorewalker Cho / Zombie Chow abuse deck or something.... I am saddened.
