so what happens if you complete your quest and have 10 cards in hand at the time? Does the reward just vanish? Or does the quest not activate if there's no available space in your hand? If the latter, would you then have to play an additional requirement to set off the quest?
Ex/ On your turn, you have 10 cards in hand, and you need to play 1 more spell to finish the mage quest. By playing Primordial Glyph (obtained from Babbling Book) and discovering another Glyph, you would have both 10 cards in hand and the quest supposedly complete. Do you lose the reward forever? Does it appear in your hand at a later time when there's space? Would the counter just stay at 5/6?
note: yes, I realize this is a bit of a silly hypothetical scenario, but I think it's interesting nonetheless.
Just like every other 10 card interaction in the game. You lose the card. I'm not sure why you'd think quests suddenly allow the card limit to go to 11.
I do believe that it was confirmed earlier at one point (I believe by Toast? Could be wrong, don't remember) that the card does indeed get milled (destroyed) if your hand is full. Bit of a shame, but mechanically consistent, so can't really complain too much.
I don't see a reason for them to save it, it should disappear as its like any card (example when a deathrattle add a certain card to your hand and its full)
I'm not sure I would call that consistent. Quests are more similar to secrets then any other cards. If your hand or board is full, certain secrets will not trigger.
I don't believe I have seen this addressed yet,
