Hey guys, I'm new here. I play a lot of Gwent and decided I'd like to see some more in depth card games and landed here. I bought a few packs and put together a sort of control mage with some of the C'thun stuff in there and a nice surprise in there for if things aren't quite going my way.
I am having a ton of fun playing the expert AI and just trying to get off the training wheels before I start playing some human players.
I'm not sure how getting people to look at your builds works, but I will just post it here and if anyone would like to give me any suggestions on variations for certain style decks or outright changes, please let me know. I'm extremely late to the party so anything would be helpful.
I'm not really into stuff to win, I just like playing these card games and the AI normally becomes easy when you learn all the tricks the other decks have.
I know people tend to use twin princes, but I don't have that card yet and it's expensive to craft. I was worried about the lack of taunts (I don't have any in this deck) but I don't think it really needs it tbh, if you are getting the right cards it's pretty fast and if things are going down the pan, there's always the big angry dude at the end there.
I haven't gotten that far yet I don't think. I'm like level 17.
I've gotten to use the deathwing twice now and it's worked both times.
PS: is playing expert AI a good or bad thing? it was mainly just to test out the deck more than anything.
The expert AI is probably better than some of the players you will play, but if you can climb to rank 20, the players will get better. The problem is that at rank 20 there are a lot of farmers which destroy new players. I'd say you should play ranked. If you want to add me LittleJ#1986 I'm sure I can help you.
Playing with AI not bad, i used to be that same guy. There is more fun playing in Arenas and Taverns, never will know how your opponent playing.
Yeah, I think it's mostly nerves for me. I don't mind loosing, especially when I am learning something. People can take a long time to play their turns though and when you're just waiting to loose, it gets old. That's where my Deathwing comes in, a kind of fail safe.

Take off that Yeti , its not a good card anymore. C'thun decks should run Disciple of C'Thun
It is a decent New account deck. Go play ranked. You cant improve against AI. And do not play casual , you re going to play against full collection player trying hipster decks without losing ranks.
Though some people gets really emotionally involved with games , remember its only a game and the worst thing that can happen is seeing that "you lose' screen at the end of the match
I don't have them yet, it;s another on my list. I have a bunch of cards for other classes from packs I got easily turn to dust though. It;s how I managed to round off my current deck, I had a bunch of golds I wasn't going to use cashed in.
You know those guys that damage themselves when you play them? it;s got on roc on it!? I have 2 of them, can't really see why they would be good so could cash them in. Also got an arcane which I probably won't use to name a couple.
Try playing ranked, thats the only way to really get a feel for the game. I would also watch players on twitch and youtube that are educational, such as Trumpsc, Lifecoach, and Strifecro. Trump especially has a lot of good educational videos where he gives a basic teaching for several decks. You can add me and i'll watch a few games of yours if you want, kkbubble#1830

Greetings! I noticed you had a bit of trouble figuring out how to link your decks, so i am going to help you understand that :)
On your deck page there are two boxes like this
That is also taken from your actual deck page, so you would use the deck tags and then "588196" for that specific deck. You may also just copy and paste it; it will appear as a widget type thing. :) The link you actually posted was a link to the deck builder.
I figured out which deck it was by looking at your profile and comparing to the deck builder you linked.
Anyway, it is best to post the BBCode just as it is there to show others your deck. I will edit your post both as an example and so others will not be confused by the link.
says this guy is a druid card!? I had a feeling you were a troll from the start! :p forgive me if you are just confusing yourself, but that card can't be used by a mage, and if I'd not checked first it would have been an expensive mistake on my part. Luckily the game does a good job of letting you know if a card is only for one specific class.

I have been watching strifeco and trump, will look for the others too. I also added that c'thun panda guy instead of the yeti as I needed more 3's. I'll add you as well, thanks. my name is the same as the battle tag!

Good luck in your Hearthstone adventures!
I was taking both and adding them together and posting it. I tried just the stuff in the second box but that did not work so I have just been pressing the "copy" button and posting what it gives me! Thanks, hopefully I can work it out.
EDIT: PS: can we edit our existing decks on here? mine were uploaded using the app automatically!
thanks. I did a match where I had to pick cards from a random deck. I lost the first one, I'll probably do better with my own deck. I'll start playing some people tomorrow as it;s getting late now, would rather start with a fresh head, you know what I mean!?

Sure can! To edit your decks first go to your my decks page
and then you should have an edit and delete option for each deck in the list as you can see here under "modify".
Alternatively you can go to the actual deck page and it will also have an edit option to the right of the title [except mark as spam, that is for me ;) ]
hey guys, I feel that I did not have enough 1's here, so I took out the deathwing and put in a mirror instead as that could help out a lot at the start I feel. Now I probably need some stronger higher end cards in there as well though.
it basically looks like this, although the deathwing has been taken off to add another 1 card as I barely get 1's at the start as there is barely any in my deck.
EDIT: won my first 3 games in a row on ranked, the 3rd guy was a bit better, but the first two I kind of dominated, at least I've broken my cherry now and my preparation has paid off... thanks for any advice given guys.

> Got a Deathwing
> Plays Expert AI (lol)
If you're playing for fun, Tavern is the real place for you.

Unstable portal -> Servant of Yogg-Saron -> Brawl -> Servant wins with opponent's board full. Never Lucky

thanks. I will switch that card out then. I was aware of the Disciple card, just haven't got it yet. anything else I could use in the meantime?
This card perfectly replaces Yeti
Klaxxi Amber-Weaver

this would be the new draft. I still think it needs more curve. what could I do to get better starts? you think one more 1 in there could help?
