So I was wondering, is Miracle rogue a good deck to ladder with? I have enough dust to craft Edwin VanCleef and x1 Preparation (since I already have the other one). I played a lot of raptor rogue in the past seasons, and Miracle sounds fun and pretty strong. Does Miracle struggle against the top meta decks? Thanks!
I laddered up to Rank 3 with Maly Rogue last season. (I'm not someone with enough free time to get Legend, so my goal most months is just to break Rank 5.) It wasn't the fastest grind -particularly because I had a serious learning curve. With this kind of Rogue deck, even your turns 1-3 can have a HUGE impact on the game. It takes serious time (and losing a decent number of games) to figure everything out.
Still, by the end I had a solid win rate, and it was BY FAR the most satisfying ladder climb I've ever had in Hearthstone. Most decks feel like they have strong matchups and weak ones, and a lot depends on how well you draw. With this deck, it felt like I had at least a chance to win every game so long as I played carefully. It made the losses easier to handle (because I could think about what to do better next time), and it made the wins extremely satisfying.
My suggestion: craft the prep and try the deck without Edwin. If you like it, craft him. But you can get a feel for the deck without him. Frankly, you're probably gonna lose for a while anyways, so why not get that out of the way before you drop 1600 dust?
It was strong in yesterday and the day before that's meta it's tough to gauge it in today's meta since it's still early in the morning......lol but seriously it is strong you just have to plan a few turns in advance and have a strong knowledge of the current tier 1 decks to predict your opponents plays and plan accordingly

The pleasure is mine.

Tier 1 deck for sure. Although it struggles against Aggro Shaman, but overall really strong to climb; requires a lot of focus and thinking though.

Wow, thank you all! I'm definitely going to play it. As EndlessMike said, crafting Prep first is better. I'm replacing Ed with Questing Adventurer.
Thanks again, you're great!
