And may I know, if you dont mind, how long have you been brewing this class?
Glad you're a fan! ^_^
And I made it right alongside everybody else during our first Class Creation Competition last year. Since it was our first Class Creation Competition and I was brought on as a mod specifically to run it, I felt it would be inappropriate to enter, but I did still post in the Discussion Topic to get in on the fun of class creation. My faux submission posts can be found in the Discussion Topics for Phase I, Phase II, Phase III, and Phase IV. I had meant to make a thread soon after the competition was over, but I never quite got around to it then. It was only in December after classes ended when I decided to finally buckle down and catch up on TGT and LoE that I missed that I then posted the class.
I love every single piece of this character! It surely has unique playstyle, which seems both really fun and challenging. Also have to mention, that you put a lot of heart and wit into the design and mechanics. I would love to see it in action.
Bonus points for one of my favourite MtG angel arts. ;)
I'm not a professional card designer, but I have to say that I love love love the flavour of this class and you have some really great ideas for cards. I really liked reading them. Keep up the good work!
I do not believe that to be the case, but I'd be open to hearing your arguments as to why. Their effects might look overpowered at first, but remember that they're Secrets and their effects are thus delayed and trigger on your opponent's terms. That's why many existing Secrets are either better versions of other existing spells or cheaper versions of other existing spells. Compare Avenge to Blessing of Might, Explosive Trap to Consecration, Mirror Entity to Faceless Manipulator, Freezing Trap to Sap, Vaporize to Assassinate, and so on.
I would like to start off by saying that I really enjoyed this deck. It was excellently done and fairly balanced. I only have a few complaints and one point.
First the point. Eater of Secrets. Now, this deck was obviously made before that card came out, and doubtless Blizzard would not have released it had this deck been in play. Nevertheless, it is an issue that might be worth addressing. Your choice, though.
My gripes about some cards:
Fortune Teller: it's two less than shattered Sun, thus it should have a 0/1 body. If two of these were to be able to buff each other, you'd have unprecedented 2/2 minions. I would by no means call it broken, but it's a touch strong, especially when compared to Zealous initiate, since deathrattles are considered to be weaker than battlecries.
Mysterious orb. Same thing, it's one less than novice engineer, thus it should be a 0/0 therefore not exist. You could make it a deathrattle draw, though, and have it be balanced.
Surveilance Drone may or may not be crazy strong. I honestly don't know. I don't think it's as broken as it seems, however.
Enigmatic Heiroglyphs should, in my opinion, be automatically replaced (discard them). Otherwise not only do you get a card draw, you can leave it in your hand to buff your hand dependent cards.
I do feel that this is a very clever class, however. When will the next class design competition be?

This is by far the best class concept I've ever seen created by the common Joe. It's innovative, intriguing, and there's just something mysterious and cryptic about the Seer that draws you in to want to play her. As a Hearthstone player, I personally, and helplessly continue to wish that this specific class or a class Blizzard adopted directly from it, would have made it into Hearthstone. The hero power is just awesome!
Either way, you should get total recognition for it, and a good percentage of the money. Not only is the Seer well thought up, but it's surprisingly balanced, and every little knickknack it has, goes with it to make it a whole. It all intricate, and correlates in one way shape or form.
You put some very deep thought into this, very clever indeed! I don't know what you're attending college for, or what full time job you are currently working, but if you're not going for computer graphics and animation, or working full time on creating card concepts, then I think you're doing it all wrong. You could either work directly for Blizzard, or you could create your own card game, and eventually someday live the dream.
Follow your dreams young man, you have the talent to pursue them. Believe that!

I would like to differ on Fortune Teller and Orb. Reason being class cards tend to be slightly stronger than neutral ones, hence the comparison should be held towards such. Example being Goldshire Footman and Voidwalker or Silvermoon Guardian and Shielded Minibot, if you catch my drift. ;)
You have some spells that triggers at the end of your/your opponent turn or in another moment in the game. What about a card that says "The spells you play are not shown to your opponent."?
Oof, it's been a while! Great to see people are still discovering and enjoying this class, and it continues to be a point of pride for me. Now that it's summer break, I need to get to updating this for Whispers of the Old Gods!
And since I'm here, let's address a couple of concerns...

Yes, Eater of Secrets is going to be something that I need to address at some point, though I may simply do so by shifting the class's design away from Secrets. After all, with the loss of GvG, a lot of the Seer's best Secret synergy cards will be out. One of the possibilities I'm considering is actually making use of Eater of Secrets, by which I mean having the card be something the Seer would want to use itself. Somebody suggested earlier in this topic that I make negative Secrets that are given to the opponent; I'm still really intrigued by that idea, and that sounds like something very thematically appropriate for WotOG!
Fortune Teller gets to be a little bit better than Zealous Initiate and a scaled down Shattered Sun Cleric because it's a class card. Same thing with Mysterious Orb, though that one's a little trickier to explain. See, scaling a 1 Attack down to a 0 Attack is actually worth 2 points, not just 1, because 0 Attack comes with the added disadvantage that the minion effectively Can't Attack. It's the same reason that Shieldbearer has a stat total of 4 while Goldshire Footman has one of only 3, or why Target Dummy has the same stat total as Wisp but also gets to have Taunt on top of that. Mysterious orb is a very good, solid card, but it is not OP, and it scales appropriately down from Novice Engineer, especially when considering that it is a class card.
Finally, your suggestion for Enigmatic Hieroglyphs doesn't make sense. Their only existing function is to buff your hand size for card effects that depend on that. Removing that function makes them pointless.
The biggest problem I see wit hthis class is you have all these draw effects, but nothing thats really going to extend the life of your deck, so you're just going to drawyourself to death rather quickly.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Could you elaborate? Also, I do still have to make the WotOG expansion. Maybe you can recommend something.
This is one of the few custom classes I like. You put lots of work into it that's for sure, the mix of WoW and non-WoW characters, plus the great artwork is amazing. Too bad you put Prophet Skeram into the GvG set, if you didn't he could be the Wotog legendary!
I still feel that saying a card is a class card is not a good excuse for making a card significantly above average. Still, it happens, and I can accept it. On the topic of giving your opponent damaging secrets, I see two main problems. First is that it would have to be one of a few random secrets, or the point of it being a secret is sort of defeated. That effect could be even further compounded by the fact the secrets you play on them could be activated on the same turn you played them. That means that if there were 3 random secrets, one of which was chosen, you could just run through all three options to activate an effect that would be more powerful than normal. To negate that, you would have to add the text of "the secret cannot be activated this turn" to every card you used the effect on. The problems could be overcome, but I feel like to make it fair, you would need delayed activation and a lot of secrets to choose from (at least 5). Sorry about my Heiroglyph misunderstanding.

Well done on the deck! It would be awesome to see at play :D
Sent from my shuttle to mars...where is my shirt?
You've managed to design a really good Hero! I'd love to play this one!
Grate job!!!!!
I don't even know how long I just spent looking at every card you made lol
beautiful job!!!
This is an amazing concept for a class, and clearly had a lot of hard work put into it!

The Nexus comes to the Inn with my set of Heroes of the Storm Legendaries!
What i mean is an effect like "Gang Up" is lacking here. anyway, I guess i can make some suggestions,
(I wont make the card itself, as im not sure about the art, but ye)
Prophecy: Cost 5. Shuffle two "Fate's Chosen" into your deck. (3/4, Divine Shield, cost 3)
The Undying Cycle: (Cost 6) Every time you draw a card this turn, shuffle a copy of that card into your deck.
Legacy: Cost 4, Shuffle copies of two random cards in your hand into your deck.
