before the player draws Dr. Maljin triggers and selects a card from their hand. If the cards mana cost is to high or the conditions to trigger it are not met it is automatically discarded and your Hero says "NO! It has good memories!" to which Dr. Maljin says "I deleted it" (1:27 to 1:29). if both the cards mana cost and triggers are active then Dr. Maljin says "the first step to getting better is to decide what items you don't really need" (0:59 to 1:05) and then like with the druid Choose mechanic (or the Discover/Tracking/Shaman's improved Hero Power(that Justicar gives them), but with fewer cards) two card appear on the screen. the one on the left is a copy of the card you discarded and clicking on it will bring you to the tageting menu if it is a spell or minion with a battlecry (if the player chooses an invalid target then it returns to the original choose portion instead of returning the card to your hand like usual) your hero says "NO! pick something else." to which Dr. Maljin says "Alright" (1:15 to 1:16). if you choose to discard then your Hero says "NO! It has good memories!" to which Dr. Maljin says "I deleted it" (1:27 to 1:29).
lore
The character was supposed to help people get rid of all the useless items that they don't need. to do this he causes both players to discard a card at the start of every turn; however if there was no way to interact with this then Blizzard would never use it. therefor if the player could have used they are given a chance to, but in certain cases this could ruin a combo (Savage roaring before casting Force of Nature). The idea is that if you can use you get to do so, but if you don't want to pay the mana cost or risk its effect then just get rid of it (i.e. turn 5 and picks a 2-drop in your hand is a 4-drop, a 5-drop, and a 7-drop and you are Shaman, if you play it then all you can do is totem and pass , but if you discard then you can play the 5-drop instead). will work to kill any super combos and preserve the meta if Blizz ever makes anything like FoN & SR for other classes.

"To Vol'daz, everything is born merely for the purpose of digestion."
First card ever made. I have no clue if it is too OP or Savagery Tier. Constructive criticism is welcome!
I thought this would be a good card for people who wanted to run either a fatigue deck. Because of all the Druid buffs out there and easy removal, I gave him "can't be targeted by spells or hero powers."
This card went through lots of design changes as I tried to prep it for this entry...
Originally it was "Whenever your opponent draws a card, draw a card." which sounds simple and elegant, except if both players have on in play the game ends.
Then it evolved to "Whenever your opponent draws a card on their turn, draw a card." but that removed the ability to combo it with Coldlight Oracle or Naturalize.
I tried making it a Battlecry, but the wording was weird. I tried making it an end of turn or beginning of turn effect, but that all seemed weird too.
I wanted to make it "Whenever your opponent draws a card, discover a card." but then you would be able to eat up your opponents turn clock, so that obviously doesn't work.
I think ideally i would like it to say "Whenever your opponent draws a card, add a Present to your hand." where Present is a 1 mana spell that says "Discover a card", but we aren't allowed to have that for this competition. I thought about using Raven's Idol or Excess Mana, but it doesn't fit thematically.
... so in the end we have "Add a random card to your hand" which is kind of lame, but whatever, it's Christmas. Enjoy your random card.
"The only thing this device bakes consistently is disaster. If you follow the recipe." -Goblin Chef Larz Sprocketson
Obviously didn't want to make it blatantly overpowered but still really good in the optimal situation. Also plays on a card text that hasn't been done before in using card sets as the cost reduction condition.
Give a minion +2 Health and "This minion cannot be Frozen."
Flavor: "Yes, I loved it..."

EDIT: There are no neutral spells in Hearthstone so I've changed it to a paladin card. Paladin and Priest are the classes who cares about health/life gain, so I felt paladins could wear one of those behind their armor... :)
Hope it doesn't count as a "specific character" because it's actually a spell, not Kilrogg Deadeye himself.
Anyway, some clarifications:
I used the same wording as the Poisoned Blade because it doesn't replace your hero power, BUT it changes how it works. You tap, take 2 damage, and then Discover a card from your deck. I added the "instead of drawing it" part because you don't draw a card, then discover one. You just discover instead of drawing.
The card discovered it's NOT a copy, it's taken from your deck like a draw.
EDIT: tried to get the "s" of "Discovers" in bold, but the hearthcards generator only detects "Discover" for some reason.
Public Mod Note(Asylum_Rhapsody): UNDER REVIEW: "Unsilence" is undefined, vague, and arguably non-functional. At best, it's a new invented keyword, which is not allowed.
Well I've always loved to see an "unsilence" card and it seems to fit pretty good in a priest deck as a dragon.

Because the Nozdormu nerf meant there really wasn't a way to use this mechanic. Well now there is. Lifecoaches beware.

Essentially the inverse of Mind Control... gives Rogues a very situational opportunity for further mayhem, like
* giving away Fel Reaver then milling with Coldlight Oracle and Shadowstep,
* giving away other inherently cursed cards (e.g. Deathlord then Assassinate to search for something big), or
* giving away minions that opponents have cursed in some way (Power Word: Glory, Blessing of Wisdom), or
* ...?
EDIT: add a fix to make re-gifting Doomsayer more difficult.
