Why would i want to pay 8 mana for 12hp heal that WILL lose me the game? Immune to effects doesnt seem to be so valuable, what effects would that be? Like battlecries? And is it suppose to protect the hero or the weapon from being destroyed? Very unclear :x
Think of the card as reducing your heroes health to 1, but give your hero 11 Divine Shields.
Right ok, i kinda didnt realize that any dmg would be reduced to "one", that makes it a lot better, but what about the immune part? What do u mean by that?
This card feels very broken if it can't be destroyed through conventional means. Basically, this says "Set your Health to 12; reduce all damage done to your hero to 1."
The only major drawback to it is it essentially gives Tirion Fordring "Deathrattle: Lose the game."
This is a perfectly fine card that does exactly what it states. If you have this minion on the board, and your hero's health is reduced below zero, you lose the game. It ticks all the boxes for this week and it's balanced too.
I have no idea how this is branded as a troll entry. Maybe I forgot to include a white girl stereotype and a smartphone? Or is it that I'm not a mod?

FYI no rarity is wierd :P
He's meant as a basic card (fIlling the missing 3/4 spot there)
As for whether he'll make finals... I cannot comment on that, except that I have strong faith in the democratic voting process of this competition :)

Well, it doesn't really tick all the boxes for the competition: "Your card must, under some condition, explicitly lose you the game."
This card itself can't lose you the game (which is what the contest rules require), it just states a pre-existing rule that loses you the game.

It was branded as a troll entry because, while I and the other mods do find the joke hilarious, the card subverts the rules of the competition - just as we asked cards written as 'If you play X, lose the game' to be changed, because they could instead be written as 'You can't play X', your card could simply be a vanilla 3/4, which wouldn't fit the competition theme.
what do think about this card? initially it was draw 3 cards, but then players will go for a build of all minions/spells of cost 10+ to guarantee a win at turn 10 but that will make them have low defence at the start of the game.

I think the argument is "Wight Girl" actually did something relevant within the rules. Captain Obvious is funny, but it's effect doesn't do anything until and unless there's ever a card that says "You don't lose the game for having 0 or less Health." This card is more akin to the Optimistic Ogre card that was in the Giant contest with the play on typical Ogre wording. This is basically just Spider Tank without Mech?

I'm wrong, or this card kill you if you have 1-2hp and trigger an explosive trap using Truesilver Champion?

do you think 2 or 3 is better?
This basically reads "toss a coin, winner wins the game." It leads to mildly interesting deckbuilding decisions, but it's really too big a gamble even for Casinostone.

I'd imagine it'd function as it normally does as the rules state exactly what this card does as a general rule of the game. The effects with Secrets triggering at the same time a character goes to 0 life or "at the same time" are supposedly working as intended but are just graphically incorrect as the game cannot display "Happens at same time" - everything is coded to show graphically as in stages even though some effects are "simultaneous". So even though your Health shows as 0 the game treats it as you never actually hit 0 Health. It's the same thing that happens with something like a single card triggering multiple Knife Juggler triggers resulting in a minion going to 0 Health but then getting an Avenge trigger on it.
However, with all that being said Blizzard has been awful about rule consistency and/or clarity which means maybe the game is actually treating this situations as "You've gone to 0 but that's okay" effects most notably because when things like the above happen the "0" Health target cannot be hit be any further daggers for example.
