This Week's Finalists
Entry Restrictions:
Your card must "give" your opponent one or more minions. These minions may be summoned, put into your opponent's hand or deck, or be transferred from your control to theirs.
Your card cannot interact in any way with minions that already belong to your opponent, including minions in their hand or deck or minions of theirs that died previously. Though not an exhaustive list, this would include dealing damage to them, destroying them, transforming them, silencing them, taking control of them, summoning them from or returning them to your opponent's hand or deck, or even giving them buffs.
We have whittled down ~180 valid entries to just 22 of the community's favorites.
Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
NOTE: Cards with a black border have additional material, like explanations or unique tokens,

Note: Usually this section is ordered identically to the order of the finalist cards. However, since we have so many tokens then week, I've decided to order them alphabetically by card name to make things a little easier to find.
(By card name, I mean the card name of the originating card, not the card name of the token.)

Nice entries this week! I saw apple just now and I loved it, nice sinergy with other buff minions like Dire Wolf Alpha etc. Also, Circus Director was not supposed to be Silas Darkmoon?
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
I don't get why people like Apple. It's a terrible card. It's only purpose is to pull RNG damage, but you give your opponent a card that does RNG damage?

So.. close the voting, give Dr. Bloom the first place? It's not like it's gonna go any other way, lol.

I dunno. Dr. Bloom is one hand somewhat creatively executed, on the other hand it's also a totally obvious joke entry based on an existing cards. It will obviously win, since it we have "this" community and therefore makes this whole week kinda irrelevant and undermines the creativeness of all other entries, since you send them into the trash can anyway.
Next week we have "Dr. Broom" and then "Sane Scientist". etc And people WILL vote for it... urgh...

I kinda regret that I didn't make my entry "A Game of Secrets" say: "Shuffle 3 random secrets into your deck" instead of "Add 3 random secrets to your hand" - cause then it would have synergy with Mad Scientist and Mysterious Challenger, but oh well, glad I made it anyway, and thanks for the Wild Card! May the best card win!

Just one less vote made me not entering the final :(
Ceasefire just has so many interesting things going for it, and I'm afraid it's going to be lost on a lot of people because of its simplicity. Really, I think it's simplicity is one of its biggest strengths because it makes it look and feel like a realistic card. I also love how it's one of those cards that gives new life to underused cards. Not only does it give new life to Shieldbearer, but it also gives potential life to cards like Bolster and King's Defender, elegantly boosting an under-supported archetype. The only thing I could think of to improve this card would be art-wise.

@ Zukuu
P.S. Anyone else getting errors sometimes when they try to post replies with quotes in them?

I would have made it to the finals if it hadn't been for pesky little Dr. Bloom.

I'd like to pause for a moment to recognize Thorwaller and the Circus Director.
Normally I hate having to put up finalists that include a lot of tokens. It's more time-consuming than it seems like it should be, and usually cards with a large amount of tokens feel to me like they're trying too hard and going for quantity over quality. They're often an unrealistic mess of card text, and they often don't even thematically make sense as to why the base card is producing all of these specific things.
Circus Director subverts all of that. The tokens are all thematically fitting, both to the base card and also to the overall competition theme; there were a few submissions that did play into the holiday gift-giving theme, but this is the only one that made it as a finalist. As for the tokens themselves, they're all perfectly simple and even actually mechanically identical to one another.
And to top it all off, the tokens are all just one big image so I only had to put one image in the finals instead of six. o_o
Bless you, Thorwaller!
Here's my review of the finalists.
Dr. Bloom- might see play in slower control decks that want the healing. But against the matchups where the healing is consistently useful turn 6/7/8 are usually spent on preventing damage and this doesn't do that so I'm not sure about it's usefulness compared to other cards in the mana slot. If this had taunt it'd be pretty good, right now it's okay.
and holy god that ended up a giant wall of text. Should I just put reviews like this in a pastebin if I decide to do anymore? It would save a lot of space.
