Giantbane is a Rare Clefthoof in Warlords of Draenor. I choose him because...hey! Giants!
The idea is pretty straight forward, w/o the cost reducing mechanics, most Giants are really mana inefficient if not outright unplayable, hence, GIANTbane. It can also allow you to hinder the crazy combos provided by Emperor Thaurissan, or laugh at your enemy's Loatheb.
Do note this effect goes both way, dropping your own Loatheb with this on the field means your wasted the battlecry.
I have always liked playing Shaman. but overload mechanic is just to detrimental with not enough cards playing into it (Unbound Elemental) or around it (Lava Shock).
The cost was important because at 12 its playable to early. 15 seemed to make sense.
Halion was a powerful Twilight dragon. As a race the twilight dragonflight has the ability to absorb sources of magical energy. This is the way I created that effect. In many cases Halion with be a 6/8 for 7, but in a top deck war, or in a control matchup it could be game winning. Getting it late game out of an unstable portal would mean playing it with another card or really shooting yourself in the foot. Overloaded mana crystals would count as unspent.
Balancing this card was very tricky - Charge is such an incredibly strong mechanic, especially on a minion with high health. If you don't discard a Dragon, he's just a regular 8 mana 6/8. If you do though, he can charge down his opponents. I based the effect around existing Twilight effects (Twilight Whelp, Twilight Guardian) with a Warlock twist.
Also, the art comes from a YuGiOh card called Interplanetarypurplythorny Dragon (I kid you not). I felt that was quite funny given how simplicity is one of this week's themes. :)
Just some late game taunt power for mill decks. It's only playable once your opponent has 20 cards left, but at 10 cards he only costs 5. The number is rounded down, of course. For example, at 11 mana the opponent has only 5 sets of 2, so he would still be worth 5.
Ivus the Forest Lord is an Ancient of War from the WoW battleground, Alterac Valley. Alliance players need to turn in a certain number of Storm Crystals (obtained in the battleground)before it can be summoned.
Lokholar the Ice Lord is the Horde players' equivalent. If it were also made into a card, it would be a legendary with 50/10/10 stats as well but its text would read, "Costs (1) less for each Mana Crystal your opponent spends." A great card for when you play aggro decks or decks with many low cost minions but you're up against control decks or decks that have many high costs minions.
This can't be played any sooner than turn 10 except possibly by a Druid. Also, these cards are a Holy Wrath's dream!!

Edit: Updated a more badass art
Simple. Powerful, but requires a bit of setup. Would likely be good in more token based Shaman or Paladin decks.

A very straightforward aggro counter.
The "Can't be targeted" ability is more powerful than elusive since it also prevents the wall from being targeted by battlecries.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
What's this? Dragon Warlock?

More love for Casino mage, viable 7+ attack minions that get around BGH, and fun card in general.
