If you get 1 card out of him, he's effectively at his pre-nerf price. If you get 2, he's at his post nerf price. Even after that, 1 mana for a card is still a great deal, but it prevents miracle abuse.
At first it seems OP I mean this worth 7-6 mana atleast, you get it for 4 mana. But the catch is the health lose, the more this minion lives, the more health you lose, you can't even use your hero power because you are gonna lose 5 health atleast. So the whole point that this minion is really hard to remove (4 attack = immune to both shadow words) and very sticky (8 health), but the more he lives, the more health you will lose, is it good or bad? You decide. Kinda interesting concept, playable? I don't know but certainly interesting and better than the original.
The only way you're going to get value is playing this on turn 1, otherwise you're spending 1 mana for a 0/1 that procs from card draw.
I'm pretty sure this card can be played at every stage of the game. As someone said it's a 4-mana cheaper Mukla's Champion that activates automatically at the start of the turn. Way over the top.
So I have two concepts for Poisoned Blade. I like the first one better because I feel like the second one would be too much of a win-more card at 4-mana, which could be amazing under the right circumstances. But I'd like to hear the communities opinion on which one is a better designed card.
Dunno both seemed OP. I think lowering Poisoned Blademanacost to 2or 3 is okay. No need to tweak its ability. 1st option is too good we all know what rogues can do with a high damage weapon. 2nd option might also op. It's basically an infinite weapon that keeps on growing. I think its better to give it a fixed attack value like 3 or 2 and its give it durability when rogues use their ability.
Poisoned Blade in it's current state is unplayable, I think if blizzard were to do anything about the card, I would keep it the same but add +3-4 durability to it or lower it's mana cost to 2-3 at least, the tavern brawl , proven that the card is strong if you spam your hero power but spamming hero power as rogue? why?
Yeah you guys might be right about the designs, they might be too powerful. Thanks for the feedback!
Okay 3rd design. This doesn't really keep with the original theme, but it's better than the original and less OP than my first 2 entries. We can do this!
That is OP as hell. Not only did you lower the cost but yo essentially made it "Here, you have your worst minion, I have my best, and I also get HUGE board advantage". I'd argue that it's almost better than flame strike.

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
You are right, I kinda rushed without thinking... If it will be 7 mana, will it be balanced then?
I don't think it would be balanced unless it was 9-10 mana. It's a board clear except for one of the minions you choose. If you didn't keep a minion then it could be balanced at 6-7 mana.

Next up: the priest spell Silence
For those who read this after the image is deleted: Silence draws, and silences weapons too.
Next card: Pit Lord

Next: Blood Imp
Would have liked this if you simply added the weapon removal effect. Making it cost 1 more to turn it into a can-trip is going too far.
Better buff, but with a condition.
Next up: Jeeves
