My first idea so far and i am not sure about the balancing but the idea is to create a strong minion if you are lacking board presence.
Its a druid card because it fits the idea of a talon attacking out of nowhere :D
Plus providing a beast synergy for the beastdruid
I think it should cost 6 normally cause it's such a huge effect that it should be slightly below average if you aren't getting the cost reduction. Druid plays a lot of control/slower decks anyways so it's not that crazy that Druid wouldnt have many minions. Either that or make it cost reduction 3. Other than that cool idea.
Also, just a few cosmetic changes. Make sure the second form still has an epic rarity, and that "control" doesn't have an "e". It should also read "becomes (2)" in the card text. Other than that, a very interesting card that could definitely see play.

My idea for this week's competition. Thoughts?
So if I'm getting this right, if there were 4 enemy minions, it would be a flamestrike with a body? That's pretty strong, and I think you could lower some of the stats. It just cleared the board for you, it doesn't get a decent body. But otherwise, it looks good.
Really not sure which flavor is THE FLAVOR this week. Here are three iterations on my design and I tried to keep them comparatively unique. If you don't mind, I'd really appreciate any feedback. I believe all three meet the requirements for this week's challenge but if not please let me know so I can make changes.

I vote for the middle one personally. The left one feels like it might be too overpowered and it doesn't really follow for a Murloc to benefit off your opponent swarming, while the right seems a little weird (though I suppose it works more or less like draw a card for every other friendly minion, to a maximum of 2), but I like the middle one.

I agree that the middle one seems best :) Swarms of murlocs fit the flavor, too.

good card for "aggro", but anyway it should be 6 mana etc with worse stats like 5/5 or something, and don't forget to put "battlecry"
Cards like this are the worst thing that can ppl come up with ... the bigger the board u have, the more your opponent will be F*** and cant deal with it, since on top of your big board, u get a big minion. What does it matter u lose mana crystals as well? u have board and he cant answer. I think u should rethink your card and go in different dirrection ;-)
I think the "resouce denial" is more taboo than anything.
Yeah, cards like this never win. We warned someone about a card like this a few weeks ago, but he stubbornly ignored us and stuck with it. It got the least votes on his page. It is an understatement to say that mana, hand, and deck destruction are unpopular here.

Cause not only they r unfun, they r unfair. ppl generally make cards that cannot be played around by your opponent and that is something that is not in the game and i hope never will be, cause it would just make building a deck pointless, if your opponent could remove any of your cards (even if by random) without u being able to do anything about it at all.
Okay, I've updated my card. I had it as a 3/5 before, and got feedback that it seemed underpowered. Here is the updated card:
Keep in mind that it buffs itself. It gives a better buff that Stormwind Champion, but it is easier to counter, since you lose the buff if Phalanx is no longer in the middle of your board. I envision this comboing with Taunt warrior, both to protect Phalanx, and to make it harder to get past your taunts. Is a 3/7 too much? Would 3/6 be better?

Is this allowed to enter? i think that needs a certain quantity of minions to work, different of this because makes no difference if there is only one or no one. But i don't know if i'm right, anyway it's a good card :))

Asylum Rhapsody said it was okay. It's effect needs at least 2 other minions on the board to work. With one or no other minions, Phalanx must be the right-most, left-most, or both. So, it does depend on number of minions, plus it has the additional constraint of placement relative to those minions.

Ah ok, in this way it's a very good card, i like these types of card we can see a different perspective, por exemple, chillmaw is more efficient than abomination if you dragon in hand, i can see this minion comparing to stormwind champion, for exemple, if the card you created can do its effect, it'll be much better, but if not, it will be a little worse than stormwind champion, just like abomination and chillmaw for exemple, interesting card, i liked it :) Maybe 4/7 ? I don't think it would be broken anyway, for me it would be even better.

Glad you like it. As you say it is better and worse than Stormwind Champion, since the buff is better, but harder to keep up. Plus, it's stats are currently better. Of course, it would be better if I increased the stats, but I don't want to increase them too much. Keep in mind, it is a 4/9 when buffed.

Oh, does it buff itself? Now i understand why you don't want to put better stats on him haha, anyway, stay 3/7, is a good card in my opinion.

Why is page 4 and 5 starting with #X2? And page 6 with #XX3, page 7 with #XX4. Every page should start with #X1. (#21, #41, #61....)

People deleting their posts even though I've made consistently clear that's against the rules. I'll fix it during my lunch break in a bit. =P
