These ghosts spawned throughout the Stalvan questline. They would curse you, lowering your overall stats and were pretty annoying.

Chronormu, a member of the bronze dragonflight who masquerades as a female gnome named Chromie, is one of my favorite characters in WoW. I really wanted Chromie's Hearthstone card to correspond to her in-game role as a time traveler. Her battlecry allows you to scry into the future and change how events will unfold. Naturally, she's also a Dragon minion.

The idea of Kolkar Marauder is to promote Taunt Warrior, an archetype that has gained support in the Grand Tournament, but in a manner insufficient for it to be competitively viable. Kolkar Marauder is designed to allow for favourable trades and ease of board control, something which complements the slower style inherent in Taunt Warrior. Think of it as the control variant of Knife Juggler, albeit with a little more punch.

Mankrik was a beloved characters of WoW Vanilla, that every Horde player met while crossing the Barrens. He is my fondest memories of the early days, and I wanted to make a tribute to this iconic character. His wife was kidnapped by the quillboars, he pick up his blade and quested to retrieve her and kill her kidnappers. However, when he found her corpse, he vowed to dedicate his life to the annihilation of the quillboars, ordering you to bring him broken tusks he would keep as grizzly trophies of his sworn enemy.

Clarification on text: Any collection of cards, be it a true expansion, or cards from an adventure, trigger the mechanic.  So, if you have in your hand 1 classic card, 1 GVG card, 1 TGT card, and 1 BRM card, he will cost (4) mana less.

Brief explanation: Every set needs a Giant!  Giants in Vanilla would be decidedly less powerful than current giants, so the 6/6 stats make sense.  I would have liked to make him more mana, but that didn't fit the rules unfortunately.

Zul'Farrak Cards:

• These are the 5 Rares he dropped in vanilla, Big Bad Pauldrons was a misery for many players because of its relatively low drop chance, a lot of people wanted them for their cool appearance and nice stats.

Anyone who has played as a Hunter in Vanilla knows that if you wanted to be the coolest cat in town, you had to get either get Echeyakee (the white lion that was summoned from a Horde quest), or you had to get Humar the MFing Pridelord and wait for his rare spawn timer because he was the only black lion in the game. And he was also rare elite, so you could get stomped trying to tame this guy, especially since he was lvl 23 and usually you left the barrens by lvl 20. But once you got him, you had endless whispers where did you find him. That was the difference between Vanilla WoW and current retail. You had to wait hours if not days to get this guy, but once you did, it was worth. You had to earn your place in Vanilla. And Humar was part of that experience. FeelsGoodMan.

Synergies with Hunter:

-Beast of course

-Houndmaster synergy because the Hunter/companion relationship in Vanilla WoW was so strong with Humar

-Fantastic as a turn 5 follow up to a turn 4 Houndmaster, you can use Humar + Hero Power as a solid 5 mana turn

-Decent on curve as a turn 3 drop as a 4/3, then you can follow up with Houndmaster and essentially get the same effect

-4/3 pays homage to Houndmaster, 6/5 pays homage to Savannah Highmane

-Only a 4/3 because it was just a Barrens mob, but can become a 6/5 to represent you leveling up with Humar

-Everyone goes for overpowered cards, but this card seems more or less balanced because it requires a specific condition while being somewhat normal if this specific condition is not met

                             Its kinda hard to tell how Bad/Good this card to be. Seeing as we havent got many cards that alter/change your hero power this card could be hard to judge/play. Combos: Sideshow Spelleater, ShadowForm, LordJaraxxus/Ragnaros.

"There's enough firepower for everyone"

When someone tells me to think of a mob in vanilla one that instantly springs to mind is the Defias Pillager, known for killing more players than Ragnaros, this level 14 mob in Westfal was the bane of everyones experience while leveling up in Moonbrook. Known for their Fireball with a one second cast time these guys would two shot players if they were not fast enough to bring them down.

They now cast a weaker fireball and are not as deadly, but those that remember them remember them well.

So here is my tribute to those horrible, horrible mobs. A card that is as nasty as the mobs themselves.

I don't know much about WoW lore but I want to give it a try.

Summon against Rogue: "Try and pickpocket me now!"

Gamon was Ogrimmar's punching bag, up until Blizzard patched him to become a high-level Elite. If you drop him turn 2, not a lot of things can remove him instantly. You either sit there until you can deal with Gamon Elite the turn it comes up or get stalled.

Everyone loves bullying Gamon, including YOU! Mage's Hero Power, Inner Rage, Cruel Taskmaster, Whirlwind, etc. A simple ping turns Gamon into a 4/4 Charge. You can also give him attack (Abusive Sergeant, Power Overwhelming, Lance Carrier, etc) and have him ram into a 3/2, turning him into a 4/4 which can attack again.

Some fine turning may be due, but the idea is there.
