Might be deemed OP, but so is the current combo warrior archetype.
So basically pushing a new cancerous combo warrior archetype. This with a Death's Bite + 2 Bloodsail Raiders would end up in 4+4+7+7 = 22 damage to the face. More costy combos can be done with Salty Dog, and as a little *umph* you can throw Dread Corsairs in.
Greetings, ladies and gents! For this week's design competition, I've decided to push a viable Murloc deck by compensating for its primary weakness: a lack of fast card draw to offset its tendency to run an empty hand. The card I've created rewards a developed board with immediate card advantage, something which the Rogue class is best suited to take advantage of. I toyed with making it a 5-mana minion, but theorised that, from turn 5 onwards, the traditional Murloc deck has often already lost its advantage and with it the game.
You can use it to "gain" 3 extra mana crystals, however, this will sacrifice the minion.
At turn 10 for example, if you need board presence but also need to throw a Fireball or other 4-cost spell, you can gain a 4/9 minion and throwing the 4-cost spell.
Or you can play it, hope it survives until next turn, and have 10+(Remaining Health) mana!
Let's get some love for 9+ mana minions. I see in the winner's gallery the only times a 8+ minion have won was when it was a restriction to create 7+..
Transformations from playing a Beast, Pirate, Murloc, Demon:
The Pirate version is underbalanced for the cost kind of, because of inherent Rogue Pirate synergy.
The Murloc Scapegoat has 0 attack due to the high-attack nature of Murlocs.
Savage Scapegoat has sort of meh stats and some attack because it's pretty easy to get neutral beasts on the board.
The Demonic Scapegoat is overstatted for its cost because it's really hard to get Demons out on the board as a Rogue, unless you're playing Illidan Stormrage or you use Burgle on a Warlock, as well as there are associated downsides with playing some Warlock minions (discard is one, self-damage is another) and Rogue doesn't really want to discard its combo activators or deal unnecessary damage to itself.
Flame Imps all over the shop! Good in a control deck against aggro decks, giving you some board presence to help counteract their onslaught and getting rid of their stuff in the process!

Flavor: The blood magi of Silvermoon know well how to treat a uninvited demon.
Edit: Changed a bit of its mechanic to better fit the mage-y theme. :)
My entry for this week, the all powerful Balnazzar. Something to make the inspire mechanic work.
