Long ago, the Titans empowered primitive dragons to watch over Azeroth in their absence. Each flight of dragons were given mastery over a different facet of the world: the Green over nature, the Bronze over time, the Black over the deep regions of the world, the Red over life and the Blue over untamed magical energy. Throughout her many conflicts, dragons have always played a role. However, the most recent war against Deathwing and his Old God allies have left the dragon flights on the verge of extinction. While they are left to contemplate their end, the Old Gods still grow in strength. Realizing the danger the world would face without their protection, the Aspects devised one final gambit. They have called mortals of all walks of life to bestow their powers upon. Combined with their fortitude and the sheer willpower of the mortal races, it is their hope this new legion of guardians can challenge the threat posed by the Old Gods. You were one such person called upon to take up this challenge and receive the aspects' power. Do you have what it takes to prove your worthiness and find your destiny as Azeroth's greatest guardian?
Introducing my idea for a custom class much like others you may have seen in the class design competitions where I have been inspired by a custom card portrait added to the Hearthcards site, which in turn arose from a sub-class within World of Warcraft. Overall I wanted to cover 3 of the Dragon Aspects because less than that felt a little lacking and more seemed too complicated. I chose these Aspects primarily because there were more ideas that stemmed from them and they seemed the most likely ones to accept Dragonsworn.
Hero: Sir Davion, yes the Dota hero. Unfortunately I couldn't find any decent WoW Dragonsworn characters with good art to boot. So Mr. Davion came to mind and honestly I think he makes a pretty good fit.
Keyword: Aspect: I was trying to think of a good new keyword that would compliment the Dragon Aspects and realised that I could have it rely on Hero Power usage much like the new expansion. Another common Keyword within the class is Battlecry, as many Dragons and Dragons synergy cards use this keyword.
Hero Powers: These were the Abilities I thought would compliment their respective Aspects and the limits of a standard Hero Power. Plus, in the same vein as Animal Companion these Powers have a right to be slightly more powerful than others due to their constantly shifting nature.
Ofcourse you can't forget the "better" Hero Powers granted by Justicar Trueheart:

Thanks to Hearthcards and its community for giving me the means to create many of these cards aswell as the 3 created by other users of the site.
I'm not getting the aspect keyword. You say that cards with aspect have different stats depending on what hero power you have out but...the card text doesn't explain that. The cards just say Aspect, they don't explain how the card changes depending on your hero power. Am I missing something?
you will notice that all aspect cards come in 3s? i think that those are all the same card, but in the different aspect forms like the first 3 whelps. or the 3 essences.

I thought that might be the case but it's unclear. Especially as not all the cards say aspect on them. And that isn't really how cards work. It's an interesting idea but rather clunky. More fitting in this game would be certain cards which gain a special effect when a specific aspect is active. For example Bronze Whelp might have (Bronze Aspect, this gains +1/+1).

"I wouldn't anticipate seeing much of doctor boom" - Trump 2014
"I myself am not too hopeful about the Grim Patron deck" - Trump 2015
"(Secret Paladin) didn't work out and I don't think Mysterious Challenger will change that." - Trump 2015
"(Darkshire Councilman) takes a bit too long to get set up...bad" - Trump 2016
Anyway, ignoring the aspect weirdness for now, some comments on the cards:
Emerald Whelp - It seems strong but balanced. It's only the first each turn so it doesn't get too crazy but allows for some cool ramping.
Bronze Whelp - Kind of weird but I like it. Sort of a one mana sap. However the stats are vulnerable to ping. I think a 1 mana 1/2 without taunt would work better.
Ruby Whelp - Better than Elven Archer, but it's a class card so no biggie.
Sworn Ranger - A neat effect.
Stop - Initially I thought this would be too powerful, but a simple freeze spell would - looking at other cards like Frost Shock and Ice Lance - cost zero and this serves the same purpose.
Dream Funnel is very weird. I can't imagine any purpose for it.
Emerald Breeze - A neat little dragon card
Searing Aura - It's Arcane Explosion so it's balanced but...no cookies for creativity.
Spatial Aura - It's sap but at the cost of returning one of your own minions to your hand as well. Obviously there are bounce synergies but it seems weak at the moment.
Eternal Aura - Balanced.
Searing Breath - A mini swipe. I like it.
Essence of the Red - Could really cost 2 mana if you compare to Blessing of Might.
Essence of the Green - Underpowered compared to Velen's Chosen.
Essence of the Bronze - A really cool effect, one of my favourites.
Spatial Rend - And probably my actual favourite. I assume there will be more bounce synergy later?
Flame Shield - A strong and balanced card.

The Aspect keyword applies to cards that change their name, effects and/or stats depending on which of your 3 Hero Powers you are cycled onto. Also here are some Expert cards.
Not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but you seem to have four epics.... Though timelost looks like it's an old version.
Also personally, I don't think It's a good idea to just disregard the blue and black dragonflights, even if they aren't covered in the aspects. I mostly say this partly because all the flights are important and secondly because red dragonflight, which is usually asociated with life, is the main damage dealer... which seems odd...
Still, you got a lot of cards to still make, who knows what directions you could go in?
That's the last of the cards up. I will try and begin working on fixing some of the cards regarding your guys' input and maybe also some variants from the black and blue dragonflights for the aspect cards for those of you that have mentioned it.
Neat cards! However, as you wrote in your thread, since the hero powers rotate they should be more powerful than regular Hero Powers. And they are. Except for the fact that the red hero power is directly worse than Priest. Same with the upgraded version. Also, Day of the Dragon looks like it could be REALLY strong. With some draw power comboed the turn before, it could be an insta-win card. And you also have to consider the high mana cost of dragons. Even if the spell only gets one 9 mana dragon, it's only losing one mana. If it gets two nine mana dragons, you're gaining eight mana crystals. However, it could just be too slow. It's kind of hard to tell if it's overpowered or not.

And thanks to JustnBearber on the Battlenet forums, whose idea for a WoW class I used as a base to work from. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2369677338

I like this. Keep trucking!!! Favorite card is Flame Shield just for its anti-aggro :)
