I find making custom cards entertaining, so I decided to go the full nine yards and make a set. 14 cards for each class, seven spells and seven minions in the 1-7 mana range.
Some are pretty rough around the edges, and need tweaking, but I'd like to hear what you people think of the general idea behind them, broken combos you might see, and feedback in general.
But at 7 spell damage, it's 8 damage for free. You could spend your turn building a spell damage board and cashing in on the damage right away, even combo it if you have both in hand. Not to mention Frostbolt is very important Mage early game. The mage set also adds easier ways to build Spell Damage.
But this is the kind of tuning I was talking about, you're saying the base damage should be increased?
Yeah, I like the idea, but if they wipe your spell-damage, then you just have a very expensive card in hand that does extremely little. I just think this card is objectively worse than Frostbolt.

It's strictly worse then moonfire. Think about it. Maybe make it so it has double benefit from spell power. With 2 spell power it would be still worse then fireball and spell power is hard to get even with your new set. I think it'd be balance
What would be a better fix, increasing the base damage, or making it so Spell Damage counts double for it?
Hello everyone.
I find making custom cards entertaining, so I decided to go the full nine yards and make a set. 14 cards for each class, seven spells and seven minions in the 1-7 mana range.

Here it is.
Second part.
Arcane Blast.. wut?
If you build a Spell Damage board, it costs less to cast, and deals more damage due to spell damage.
Ok.
So if you have 5 spell damage it costs 2 mana and deals 6 damage right?
If you have 5 spell damage and play Frostbolt for 2 mana it does 8 damage.
And Frostbolt can be used in the early game and freezes.
That was my point.
Yeah, you could make arcane blast 1 mana and it would still suck. Interesting concept, though.

I love your Paladin cards. If there is just one from that set you made in TGT, it'd be worth the price.
What would be a better fix, increasing the base damage, or making it so Spell Damage counts double for it?
Thanks, which ones were your favorites?
My top 3 would be From the Ashes, Reckoning, and Silver Hand Banner.
The point of it that the spell damage will increase the attack while also decreasing the mana cost
