So I got the idea from Warcraft 3 the frozen throne, there's this unit called Spiritwalker that has a spirit link spell, you could do your units survive longer by having them sharing their life.
This could still be tuned and/or balanced, it could be equally divided or randomly divided. But the idea is clear.
Once the spirit linked minion/s die the effect is over.
This is stupidly complex. As in, the game would devolve into complex combat math that I don't think one could feasibly do without a calculator.
Regardless, you need to specify whether it rounds up or down. Very important distinction with this sort of effect since combat works around whole numbers and not fractions.
EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, this might as well say all characters are Immune since the game cannot track damage in fractions.
Can be fixed though, if the damage is divided randomly. There will not be fraccions.
An improvement, but then that's amazingly OP in a number of ways. How about "Spirit Link Totem, 0/X, whenever a friendly minion takes damage redirect half to this minion." Still a little wonky for odd amounts of damage but as with the introduction of any new card, a quick blue post could clarify how that would be handled. This has some synergy with healing totem, effectively granting double healing to any other damaged minion, and could possibly maybe potentially make Totemic Might slightly less terrible.
