Yeah kinda, you play X number of spells, the minion would glow yellow to indicate the effect will trigger and then you would play it.
A 6 mana 8/8 Demon with an extra effect? What am I missing?

It is indeed an abnormality. There's no drawback for such good stats at 6 mana.
But Aegwynn, that is a fun card.
Queen Azshara is kinda underpowered, imo. Of course, 4 4/4 Nagas is a good deal, but I see no reason for it to be a Flow 4 (!) card.
