You may not like it*, but this is the theme for this week. Thanks to BMcGill for the theme for this week! Here we go...
You must create a minion who deals damage based on it's health, rather than it's attack. This is what perfection looks like.
Furthermore, you are allowed to have a minion (not a spell, weapon, etc.) give another minion this ability.
Your card may phrase this however you feel best exemplifies this, but the phrasing we suggest is "This minion's Health is used to deal damage." We are leaving it open this time, so as long as it deals damage based on Health, however you want to do that, we're supporting it.
Examples: Lightspawn (We know it's not clearest example, but it's there).
We have calculated the 8 entries with the highest scores!! Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
Here are my quick reviews. My overall impression for this week is that many people struggled with balance so I was more lenient and gave more positive reviews to both good cards and those I thought were cool and could be good if balanced correctly.
Mach-O-Bot: This is a 2 mana 4/4. With pseudo-charge from Magnetic. Enough said. Cunning Tank: One of the better balanced ones. I mentioned in the Discussion Thread it was sort of like an alternate Tar Lurker. Tough Guy: At first I thought this was an even more broken than your first concept but then I more carefully read it. Turning your *entire* deck into Lightspawns is a very peculiar effect. Unfortunately, though you made a good attempt to make this effect work, I think it is still far too oppressive. Being able to summon 1 mana 3/3's and 2 mana 4/4's is way too much for any opponent to handle. King Mechagon: Deadly Shot + a 0/8 body for just 1 more mana that threatens to do it all over again? Nope. Bellybouncer: Excellent card. Solid, can see play in a few niche constructed scenarios, and a very, very strong arena card. Ruby Drakonid: One of several copies of this effect submitted this week. At 4 mana, it is a little steep and the 2/6 statline is a bit meh, but it is a Dragon, and therefore, it will see play. ...Druid of the Moon: Well. The mods were all rather busy this week so this name slipped through. Do not use this kind of language in future submissions. We will disqualify you. That aside, 4 mana 2/5 Spell Damage +2 is fine, 4 mana 2/3 cast Arcane Missiles is a bit weak. I would also argue the effect of dealing damage based on Health is shoehorned in on this card, since Druid will handbuff once in a blue moon, so this card may as well say "cast 3 Moonfires". Lantressor of the Blade: At 6 mana, this is less of a combo card and more of a neutral Bloodlust/Savage Roar if you build a deck around it. Also has the niche use of potentially making weakened enemy minions a lot less effective. Not bad at all.
I mean, though the name did slip from the moderators, druid of the moon is pretty funny. On a serious note, with the existence of quest in druid the new card that discounts dragon costs or even dreampetal florist, there are some pretty nasty combos to be made with that card. That fact that it casts randomly only makes it funnier. With all that I can safely say it has my vote

While making the final poll... there was a small mental debate on disqualification... but I haven’t seen Co_Ga much before, so I’ll let him slide, just this once.
Bellybouncer is the only card that I voted in both submission topic and here. I don't mean to offend anyone but to be honest, due to the limitation of this week's theme, many submissions are quite monotonic. And this card is the one that actually gave me a "wow". The idea is very simple yet extremely decent. It is a Charged Devilsaur with more attack and a Burly Shovelfist that costs less, and at the same time the battlecry makes it perfectly balanced. It works well with all kinds of hand buffs and it is a excellent card to pick in arena. Frankly speaking, I won't be surprised if this card wins the final since it deserves the first place.
Just saw the final poll, and discovered there was tension about my card (*~*). I wanted to apologize if the naming was incorrect for some of you but i'm french (yeah sorry... well no : Hell yeah!) and i knew a misunderstanding was possible. I know the word with H could be a "bad" word ^^ but it also means that the druid have horns isnt'it? if there is an alternative to say he has horns on his head i'm open to improve my vocabulary :)
About the design, it can be seen as a weak card at first or just normal regarding the previous standard. The idea is to use this card with fandral in wild or with quest in standard to get the combo of the 2 choices, or just using handbuffing card to increase HP and get extra Moonfire. Also if you get both "Choose One" possibilities you get a 2/5 Spell damage +2 casting 5 Moonfires dealing (at least) +3 damages, which is not the same.
so .... GOAL : make some nasty combos and have fun !! :)

Phoenix isn't entirely sure what happened during this comp, so he went and DQed himself.

Voted Bellybouncer and Ruby Drakonid.
Other cards were interesting, but too lacking in flavor (Cunning Tank, Tough Guy), so I didn't vote for them.

Wished to be pink.
Then did.
Then fired myself.
Then did again.

Horned Druid of the Moon
Right #facepalm

I thought you were playing with a double meaning. He has horns, but the artwork is also quite sexual.
Congratulations to MrBurger!
