Congratulations once again to nobravery for winning WCDC 10.10. They've got a fitting competition theme as we near Halloween.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
You will create a Zombeast. However:
It must combine with an in-game beast that costs (5) or less that has no text or simple keywords. (River Crocolisk, Young Dragonhawk, etc.) Youinclude this in your post.
You create a Beast, either Standard or Wild. As with all Zombeast cards, this must cost (5) or less. You do not post this card.
The resulting card, the combination of an in-game Beast and the Beast you create, is the Zombeast you enter to this competition.
You don't have to name it "Zombeast", name your entry however you'd like.
Interestingly, nobravery did not specify that the Beast you will create to combine with has to be a Neutral or Hunter beast, nor did he specify the in-game Beast you will use have to be Neutral or Hunter. The end result, however, must be a Hunter Zombeast.
As a rule of thumb, balance your entry as if you used Rexxar's Hero Power to create it, instead of a standalone card.
This is a special, seasonal contest! What better way to celebrate the spoopy season than with a prize of 7 free packs to the winner?
We have calculated the 8 entries with the highest scores!! Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
I hate how 6/8 cards shown are completely broken and overpowered, like always, and that will only make them more popular than the other 2. People could legit make a 2 manna 1/1 poisonous rush echo and it'd still end up in this list on the top 4

I would argue that it is not "as always", and this week was meant to showcase much stronger than normal cards. Reading the contest rules shows that we are making Zombeasts this week, and therefore we are taking into account we paid 2 mana for Rexxar's Hero Power.
I'd actually say that some of the cards are too weak for zombeasts - the contestants combined two bad cards into one seemingly decent one, but way below the power level of a good zombeast.
Vicious Splitting Grub is the most insane - I love it, and the two separate cards are not OP, but the resulting combination is terrifying. Too terrifying in fact, so I won't be voting for that.
In the end I decided to vote only for Kindly Grandmummy. It's powerful, gives some nice removal and solid board presence while not being totally game winning.

Care to say which cards you exactly find OP?
In reality, I thought this competition was about creating a strong Zombeast, with a solid Custom card that could see play on its own. I would agree that more than half of the submissions are incredibly strong, and I wouldn't like it if they won because they're so strong. My card is the highest cost, which makes me feel bad about it, since it's nowhere near as game-breaking. Makes me wonder if I did something wrong...
Anyways, happy to be in the finals again, good luck to all!

How long this competition go, and still most didn't realized, you need pay 2 mana for create zombeast? Yeah, they are still good, as you can pay 2 mana one turn and next play cards for deduced cost, which makes them strong, but DK powers are basicaly very strong.

Vicious Spitting Grub got my vote. Seems quite busted tbh but I really liked the feel of it.
Missing lethal since June 2015.
