Congratulations once again to nobravery for winning WCDC 10.10. They've got a fitting competition theme as we near Halloween.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
You will create a Zombeast. However:
It must combine with an in-game beast that costs (5) or less that has no text or simple keywords. (River Crocolisk, Young Dragonhawk, etc.) Youinclude this in your post.
You create a Beast, either Standard or Wild. As with all Zombeast cards, this must cost (5) or less. You do not post this card.
The resulting card, the combination of an in-game Beast and the Beast you create, is the Zombeast you enter to this competition.
You don't have to name it "Zombeast", name your entry however you'd like.
Interestingly, nobravery did not specify that the Beast you will create to combine with has to be a Neutral or Hunter beast, nor did he specify the in-game Beast you will use have to be Neutral or Hunter. The end result, however, must be a Hunter Zombeast.
As a rule of thumb, balance your entry as if you used Rexxar's Hero Power to create it, instead of a standalone card.
This is a special, seasonal contest! What better way to celebrate the spoopy season than with a prize of 7 free packs to the winner?

Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. As a rule of thumb, please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.

Vicious Scalehide plus a 5 mana 1/6 (yuck) with a battlecry that could potentially massively boost its attack, but trades off with only being able to attack once.
If ever printed could potentially run into issues with Tundra Rhino (though multi-charging beasts was a thing last year) and zombeasts themselves, though I don't think Blizz balances around the zombeast mechanic too much. If ever printed in a set with a card like Swarm of Locusts, would need to include "can't attack heroes" as it'd be too easy to make the Tundra + Forebear combo too powerful.
Combined the new beast with the Scalehide as it makes it a potentially very powerful removal + heal card that's thematically appropriate to the hunter class.
Edit: all these hypotheticals about balance are supposing that the 5 mana new 'half' of the card were printed, then this zombeast were created through Rexxar. Printing this as a card exactly as is would possibly be fine, though may need to be kicked up to 8 mana in that case.
