There should probably be a restriction in the competition that if you use an in-game Beast from the keyword-only bucket, you must make a Beast with a text, and vice versa. Most entries don’t fit the in-game Zombeast creation restriction.
I'm kinda confused here. So we create a new beast, combine it with existing one and post what exactly? My current idea is 4 mana 3/2 beast Splitting Grub with text:" After this minion survives damage, summon a copy of it.", so i combine it with Vicious Scalehide and post only the result?
I reviewed the card, and reading @Nohva's feedback, I redid the main idea and Zombeast. Unfortunately my english is not the best, sorry hehe ... But now I think you've got the idea of what I wanted for the card.
A meme card, but it's not bad. I will be double checking the rules as nobravery wants to keep to the in-game formula how Zombeasts are made: One complex beast, one simple beast. Therefore, this entry may not fit the rules.
I'd say this is alright, actually. I mean yeah it can go 1 for 4, but that's only against very greedy decks. I can see this being a 1-of in Highlander Hunter.
I think this is probably very unhealthy. We saw how dominant Missile Launcher + Venomizer was. This is 2 mana cheaper, has *permanent Stealth*. Absolutely not.
Solid, even if played on its own (Rabid Worgen). Fix up the grammar (Beasts is capitalized), maybe find better art as well, seeing as this is an important contest.
Interesting. The 50% chance does somewhat make up for the fact that it is guaranteed to have a chance to go face. That being said, I'm just not a fan of RNG in general, but the idea and concept behind this card does work.
It must combine with an in-game beast that costs (5) or less that has no text or simple keywords. (River Crocolisk, Young Dragonhawk, etc.) Youinclude this in your post.
You create a Beast, either Standard or Wild. As with all Zombeast cards, this must cost (5) or less. You do not post this card.

It is a combination of Fierce Monkey + 3 mana 5/5 legendary beast with the effect. I really like this idea so far but also worrying that it might be too powerful as a taunt even when it cannot attack. Also, I will be grateful if anyone can provide me with better art and name for this card.
Jungle Panther + 3 mana 5/4 rare beast with the effect. This card is inspired by the famous game Werewolves of Miller's Hollow. Basically a card with no downside if it is your only minion on the board, and you can still potentially minimize the lost by placing it well when you have other minions. The problem is that it might have a way too high attack as a stealth minion.
The idea is a -1 cost beast. It gives you a mana and has a minor drawback to set aside the fact it is a creature and a beast by its own (for the purpose of sumoned beast, "whenever a beast die", and so on), but when using zombeast, it decreases the cost of the other beast you pick, enabling some combos. The beast I created is called "Inner parasites". Here, it is being combined with Stonetusk Boar.
That's not a zombeast. You aren't combining parts of a Beast you like with one of your own. That is not how a Zombeast works. A zombeast literally mashes the card text of two beasts together. Therefore, you can't do "Inspire: Summon one of your own minions", it would have to be "Battlecry: Summon a 1/1 Cat".
Probably needs less health, compared to Convincing Infiltrator. Don't forget a rarity gem and a comma between "Taunt, Poisonous". Not bad of a concept otherwise.
I thought zombeasts would be tokens and therefore not have a rarity?
would the health nerf be needed as i'm basically making a 4 cost 1/5 with taunt and that effect that already seems understated or are we just analyzing the the zombeast itself as the card and making the custom beast subpar to make up for it?
basically I'm still a little confused on the balance of this one, the zombeast is basically adding (2) for making it with the hero power and arguably more with the randomness inherent to the zombeast hero power. are these supposed to be stand-alone beasts or tokens?

Hmmm that is a good point, about Zombeasts being a Token.
This contest is a complicated one. It might be me trying to balance everything in a vacuum, but I think the right call is to treat it like it came from Rexxar's Hero Power. As such, now that it costs "8" instead of 6, I think its better.
This round is simply mess. Maybe next time it want dubl check rules before anounce something. (It is not first time,) There really is not anybody who force reveal things imidiately.

I'm honestly not too sure what you're saying. All I could understand in your comment was this round is "messy", which I would like to refute by saying nobravery had a good idea and we mods executed it as best as we could. It was a complex contest, so it was hard to get all the bases covered at first. This is why I'm keeping an eye out before we open the submission topic as once the submissions open, the rules cannot change. If you don't like this week, you are welcome to skip voting, as I know you do not really make cards.
I really like this competition despite is complicatedness and confusion of me not knowing quite how to read rules right but i think i got it this time although i still thinks it a little weak maybe i need to add more damage or make it only target minions rather than all enemies for something that cost effectively 8 from random effects. still think its a token but i can add a rarity stone for the highest rarity beast in the zombeast i guess. (also i added some punnery in the name spikeridged -> spikyriged).

Does this one count? Ask for better art, thank you.
Someone really loves Zombeast.Costom Beast:

Sapphire Riverbeast + Vicious Scalehide
Rate my Death Knight Concept Class (be nice in the feedbacks... hehe).
Far too strong. That's 2/2 + 2/1 + 3/2 + 3/2 stats, all for 4 mana. That's 10/7 for 4 mana, no downsides.

The does not fit the rules. Please double check them.
A combination of two complex Beasts. Again, nobravery's clarification. Card itself is interesting, but a bit similar in function to Hakkar.

You post the in-game card and your final Zombeast. This is a solid card. On the fence whether it should be 4/4 or 4/5.

PSA: There is a clarification to the rules:
Okay. Now that's clear to me, I changed to:

Got the second place last week so that I will try again this week! I came up with 2 ideas:

Combining Stubborn Gastropod and a beast that is 1/5 taunt deals 1 damage to an enemy when it takes damage I submit:
