Here is a list of things, but nowhere exhaustive, that you cannot use under these rules: Deathrattle, hero (and hero power), hand, Rush, Echo, Health, the, Mech.
...Someone memed so I have to add this rule: Card must be in English.
Be thankful, it was originally going to be the letter E. That was even harder since you also lose Battlecry.
We have calculated the 8 entries with the highest scores!! Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
Pyramad: Just a really solid card. Essentially a draw 2 if you have any bounce-back mechanic. Might be abusable, so perhaps lower stats might be good here but the effect is certainly unique.
Bleeding Gladiator: Another simple, clean, unique effect. A strong aggro option, though this can be abused. This might have been better as a 2 mana 2/3, to give an opponent more time to react. This with Blessing of Might is hard to deal with early-game.
Evil Dead: Gave my response. Situational removal. Would be very good after certain expacs (Like KOFT, or Naxx), but unfortunately mediocre in other formats.
Rattler of Det': Memes aside, it's an alright card. In line with Onyx Bishop.
Priestess Iridi: I upvoted this in the submission thread. It *might* be broken, as we see Combo Priest tearing it up in ladder right now, but the effect is very unique. I think with some thought and if there was no silly restriction, this could make for a very nice card.
Muradin Bronzebeard: More board clear for Warrior, heh. In a vacuum, card is fine. I'd even say it is fine despite Control Warrior being a solid tier 2. I'd honestly even say it is fine when it was Tier 1. There is such a thing as too much AOE. And while this is a strong one, it is locked behind 9 mana. It's a bit clunky. While it will singlehandedly destroy a token deck, so will the rest of the Control Warrior deck. In short, this card looks good on paper, but may or may not see play if it were an actual card, despite being strong.
Keepers of the Sacred Words: I told you to fix up the grammar and syntax on this card and you did not do that. Unfortunate. Card's alright. Good tech, might be better as a neutral card.
EVIL Clown: Just a solid, simple card. Fits in excellently with Zoolock. Only "complaint" is that it is 3 mana and contends with a lot of strong 3-mana options in Zoo right now (Neferset, Recruiter, Carpet).
If I were to vote based on Most Clever Use of the Challenge, my vote goes to:
Rattler of Det
While the challenge itself isn't a particularly clever challenge, I feel like this submission found a way to *make* it clever (I lol'd) by making a card that actually referenced the challenge rather than just obeying the limitation.
Honorable mentions (ones I'd vote for if I'm voting based on plausibility/balance/gameplay/flavor):
Muradin Bronzebeard - Great lore character and perfect effect for Muradin. I imagine him coming down turn 9, smashing his hammer 'Thor'-style, dealing damage to enemy minions and gaining some armor. It's a good AoE effect for a class that has a lot of AoE but it's a 1-of and perfect for the warrior class IMO.
Pyramid - great flavor, unique effect, somewhat difficult to trigger but a nice reward if done. Definitely not game-breaking. [Worth noting that I sometimes catch myself feeling biased/skewed towards favoring the first card in the top-left of these lists because it's the first card one reads... but I do my best to be objective and this time it definitely earns its place.]
All cards is good. Except Rattler of Det'.Just a -1/-1/-1 copy of unplayable Onyx Bishop.
Rattler is in fact super overpowered and unfun. You run 2 copies of it and no other minions. Opponent cannot deal with it unless they have silence or transform.
Pyramad: My favorite of the bunch. The effect doesn't just exploit Rogue's bouncing mechanic in an original way, it also connects very cleverly to the "if you played an Elemental last turn" thing. I don't usually vote cards other than mine when I make it to the finals, but I had to make an exception with this one.
Bleeding Gladiator: The issue with this card is that it's effectively a 2/2 that interacts in a fringe way with buffs and healing. The effect is fitting for the flavor, though.
Evil Dead: What can I say, very elegant design. Plus, I've heard the creator is really handsome. Ahem. In all seriousness, I want to point out that this card would've been potentially useful for all its life, since Year of the Raven had KFT Deathrattles and Year of the Dragon had SoU Reborns.
Rattler of Det': I don't like the way it messes with the theme (Tank you was much better in that regard, for instance). If you remove that, the only thing left is a not very original resurrect effect.
Priestess Iridi: Overall, a nice, original effect. I just have one question... What does "After" mean? I guess the effect takes place after the damage is done, in which case this card should have higher stats. If it takes place before the damage, though, this card is really good, but I don't think it would be broken (except in the current meta, lol)
Muradin Bronzebeard: Nice effect, but not outstanding. The way it connects to the HotS ability is neat, but I cannot fully appreciate it since I don't play that game.
Keepers of the Sacred Words: The effect is quite original and its name really fits it. That said, don't like how disruptive it is.
EVIL Clown: Like Muradin, it's a nice effect but not really outstanding. The artwork keeps bothering me lol

Oh jeez, missed that. Yeah the card is problematic.

Wait, is this how you're supposed to act? Not vote for any other card than your own? I voted for 3 cards, none of them mine. Granted, sincerely think they're better than mine, but damn, what a sad way to compete in a friendly competition like this.

Pyramad: I really like this card: As standalone card it is under mediocre, but still playable minion. But with battlecry condition it is super strong card and very well support rogue identity. Without so much thinking i must tell best card of this round. (voted - top)
Bleeding Gladiator: Interesting mechanic. Anyway, i would consider this card as common.
Evil Dead: I like this card. It is very similar card to Etomb. But this one could have immidiately possitive effect. But sometimes we used Etomb for value from battlecry, so i can't really say it is necessary stronger. (In momental reborn/deathrattle overflow decks, it would be stronger than etomb, but for 6 mana it is nto very usefull against aggro decks, so i am ok.) (voted)
Rattler of Det': Nice way around restrictions of rules. But effect is not very interestring.
Priestess Iridi: Very interesting card, but in momental combo priest this power lvl is little bit over.
Muradin Bronzebeard: I like this card. Finaly some way, how to boost defense and make little bit clear with only one card. Anyway, did you considered to give it draw 3 cards, just for meme and hatespam? (voted)
Keepers of the Sacred Words: Good name for this card, sadly card effect is little bit much restrictive as build aggro deck around this card would be gamebreaking. (Just consider how much class can build decks against this one? Druid, mage and maybe priest? It would be not funny meta with this card in game.)
EVIL Clown: Use a clown, how evil can you be? Anyway, i am not really fond of lackeys, so sorry.

I dunno, a handful of other users have revealed to do the same, so I assumed it's the general behavior. I feel a bit embarrassed right now 😅

THERE IS NO GAME.
First time I made the finals, I'm happy enough with just that. There are some very strong and fun cards, so good luck!

Me with my card Stonks: ight imma head out
Genuinely one of the major reasons why I didn't participate. It's that well-designed of a card.
Well, as the creator did admit, he re-used a card he previously made. He had one hell of an idea that just so happened to fit this competition.
Congratulations to nobravery and the rest of his team for their winning card!
Congratulations NoBravery! Very good card, would love for Blizzard to actually print it.
