Congratulations once again to Screwjank for winning WCDC 10.7. He gave us two ideas and we went with the latter (No, it's not MTG. Zanywoop wanted to meme, so if you got jebaited... welp.):
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
We've done something similar before: You must create a dual class card. However, the twist this time is that you are locked in to the dual classes of the Uldum singleplayer:
Rogue/Mage
Hunter/Warrior
Shaman/Paladin
Druid/Priest
To clarify, you basically have to make a card that could more or less function in BOTH classes.
You do not need to make a stitched card. You may choose which card border you want. (For example, either Druid or Priest)
Flavour points will be awarded to all those who use Uldum-related art. I will only upvote submissions that feature this sort of art in the Submission Thread.
Competition Process
Below is a list of all the deadlines for this contest:
Preview Phase (Oct. 9, 2019 [10:00 PM CST] - Oct. 10, 2019 [10:00 PM CST]) The Discussion Topic is made available, previewing this week's competition theme. Entry and Early Voting Phase (Oct. 10, 2019 [10:00 PM CST] - Oct. 14, 2019 [10:00 PM CST]) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be unlocked. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like! Voting Phase (Oct. 14, 2019 [10:00 PM CST] - Oct. 15, 2019 [10:00 PM CST]) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Final Phase (Oct. 15, 2019 [10:00 PM CST] - Oct. 16, 2019 [10:00 PM CST]) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a Finalists Thread will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Finalists Thread, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and a poll to decide the winner of the competition!
Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. As a rule of thumb, please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.

First idea. You can either Silence and possibly destroy an enemy scary minion, or Silence a friendly minion and heal it back up (and removing any negative effects on it). Silence and Healing is mostly a Priest thing and Choose One and dealing damage is more Druid.
I'm curious if we have to use the stitched cards or if we can go with a different custom background. For instance, I was thinking of this for my Druid/Priest card. (I think it looks better than the stitched alternative personally but that's just me).

This is what Purify should have been ;) Awesome design.
I'm in doubt with my card ... I feel the rarity is ok, but the cost bothers me a little, but at the same time I feel that if it's cost 1, it will be out of balance.
"The flow of time is always cruel... its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."

If you are concerned about cost, give it Twinspell.
Card is fine but if you or anyone else posts "[fanmade card] Thoughts?" (or just the card) as the entire post I will probably yell at you. Critique others. At the *very* least, put your thought process behind the card you made.
Ok, and I will also address the other questions:
Stitched cards are optional, that is why we didn't post a tutorial this time as the Tombs of Terror does not have "stitched" cards. I will not allow usage of the fan-made card borders, sorry.
Y'know... Screwjank never specified whether he wanted adventure card or a collectible card. I will talk with him, but if I were you, I'd assume collectible. If we did a mix of adventure and collectible... oh boy that would not be pretty.
To clarify, and I will add this to the competition requirements, you basically have to make a card that could function in BOTH classes.
EDIT: I'll try to give quick comments to as many entries as I can later today. Don't forget to use Uldum/desert-related art, folks.
Purification: This just seems to be a power creeped Keeper of the Grove. It's not straight up better, but definitely has a higher power level, especially since it combines Silence with damage for half the Cost and also has much higher synergy with Keeper Stalladris and Spell Damage.
Tyrande Whisperwind: Compared to Lyra the Sunshard that seems to be a bit much, especially since druid has access to a lot of low-Cost spells.
Shadow Word: Predate: Creative idea, yet unusable in Priest decks and therefore not really fitting the restriction of making "a card that could more or less function in BOTH classes".
Made a card with the flavor of "Knighting" a Murloc since he is nobility. I feel like it is a bit strong for the cost, so I would like some potential tweaks.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
C'thun needs more attack for my full power to be unleashed.
Concept is cool, but 9 mana 3/2 is waaaay too weak for a legendary. It would be fine even as a 9/9

Would this count? Do you have to use a specific/special background for the card?
There is stitched card option on hearthcards for that...
Ah thanks, I'll use that.

Do we have to do a collectible card or a card for the adventure? I've come up with this Priest/Druid spell, but Priests can't really use it.
I'm curious if we have to use the stitched cards or if we can go with a different custom background. For instance, I was thinking of this for my Druid/Priest card. (I think it looks better than the stitched alternative personally but that's just me).

I couln't get the images in this thing, so they are attachments to this post instead.

Combination Priest and Druid. I think, it's fun stuff.

Rate my Death Knight Concept Class (be nice in the feedbacks... hehe).

Kirin Tor Spellbook: So far my favorite.

Card is fine, art isn't. It's too cartoonish. Also you should write 'Murloc Knight' with " and capital letters
