This dude combines the main themes Warrior has in SoU: Taunt and Quest. Keep in mind he would be the first card ever that can give your hero attack during your opponent's turn, which allows him to be used in two ways:
Defensively: Drop him against a board full of small minions. He will probably absorb a couple of hits and the attack he grants to your hero will destroy any minions who dare go face. This will also grant you one attack during your turn, since the card text says "until the end of YOUR turn".
Offensively: Combine him with whirlwind and ping effects and he can grant your hero up to 12 Attack. Even more if he's buffed by Into the Fray or other similar effects.
I think this is the card Shuffle/Quest warlock need to draw more consistently Plot Twist, as you can't really win or complete the quest without it. A fair stated cost 2 minion with a small drawback that in some situation may delay you from playing it in order to protect one of your spell. So the card requires some adjustement to your deck to maximize is value.
So this card has soft synergy with Bazaar Burglary and Hack the System, but pretty good synergy with both Mage quests, since you gain three 1-mana spells + a discovered spell, that didn't start in your deck, and obviously synergizes with Corrupt the Waters and Unite the Murlocs.
He's your resident supplier of nerves.
As a minion with 5 or more Attack, benefits Jungle Giants.
As a minion that can be played on turn 4 and ends the turn with unspent Mana Crystals, benefits Untapped Potential.
Can also be played as a 3-Cost 5/3 minion.
