Voting Phase (Starts 21:00 UTC 30/5/2019, Ends 22:00 UTC 30/5/2019) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Note that this phase only lasts for 1 Hour. Discussion Topic Rules
Hello everybody! This topic is for discussion of our "Out of Cards" mini-competition. To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.
So, without further ado, have fun and get creating!
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Made my submission (Teron Gorefiend), realized I misunderstood the topic. I though my the card should have synergy with the last card of your deck, not BE the last card. Oh well.
Inb4, guys, this comp states that we must create "a card that one would prefer to draw last from their deck". This doesn't mean that it will be automatically the last one (except in ffinderous's case). Some of the submitted entries are super OP and people WANT to draw them as soon as possible. Antonidas doesn't say anything about WHEN he could be played. He just doesn't want you to run any spells in your deck, so to say. So if you draw him by turn 5, you automatically win (turn 4 coin + Antonidas into concede lel). Fuk, nvm. I read that wrong. The card description is really confusing.
Imho the goal for this mini comp is to create a card, that:
- gives you max value, when drawn last;
- feels useless before that;
- gives you a reward while in the deck, but punishes you when you draw it (Thezzy made it, but his card needs a buff imho).
1) So we have a spy, that gives you valuable information about the opponent's next draws. You also thin out your deck a bit, but if your opponent draws Dagwig relatively fast, they get an overstatted body. Is the drawback good enough? Should I increase his stats even more?
2) I purposely gave my card a high cost, in order to make it feel slow in wild Tempo mages.
Another idea, but this one is pretty basic:
- Void bla bla bla "If your deck is empty, draw a card. Your opponent takes the damage for you"
I feel obligated to return for the grand finale, so here goes: The prompt's got a little leeway, but I think this might be pushing it too far. It's a flexible card you could play to discourage Warlocks and weapon users or in some weird masochistic mill deck, but for the purpose of this contest, you'd play it, then follow up with a bunch of draw effects to take fatigue damage, which in turn makes your opponent take even more fatigue damage until they die (and they'd better die, because otherwise the effect's gonna boomerang on you).
This is the Discussion Topic. The Submission Topic is here.

Amazing name.
I feel like we've been building up an arc for 9 seasons and we're so close to a climactic finish.

Made this card a while back...You definetly would be happy to draw that last, but it's probably OP.
I feel like this is a relatively fair card to prolong fatigue so warriors can drag games out even longer
Last one for HearthPwn!

I've got a couple of ideas:
soon

We're in the Endgame now.

"Being imprisoned can make everyone mad. Even an eyeball with tentacles and more eyeballs."
Not sure if too OP, but he's pretty slow.
