"A technique pioneered by the legendary priest, Bon'Jovi, who kept his party members living by a prayer."
This card is based on the Priest ability from WoW of the same name, and the idea for hearthstone was to come up with a cheap spell like
Power Word: Shield
without the massive draw upside, but with a potential spreading upside if used on a turn where the player is attempting to make a lot of value trades. It can help your minions trade up and stay on the board.
If the opponent's hand is full, they will not receive the Banish.
If the minion is dead before the Banish is used, the player who casts the From the Sky will still have a copy of it from Banish, while the 'destroy the minion' effect will be obsolete.
edit: oof i didn't check any of the other entries before posting and it turns out this is a lot like ignite. hopefully that's ok but i don't expect to win lol
Just to clarify: if a minion is killed by the
deathrattle they still activate their gained deathrattle, so it can be used as a sort of chain effect killing all of your opponents minions in one go.
Basically makes adjacent minions tar creepers
The effect spreads across minions as you kill them
can't be used proactively, which was the whole reason flametongue was busted, hence why i think this is balanced at 2 mana
This'd mostly be played in midrange, cos tar creepers don't mean anything for token/aggro decks, and control decks don't have minions in the early game.
But yeah, what do you all think?
The idea is that you get a random Shaman spell to your hand, that when you cast it... adds another random Shaman spell to your hand, that when you cast it... adds another random Shaman spell to your hand, and this effect repeats indefinitely for that one spell. The spell generated by Rehgar would also have a special effects layer over the card (like all of the "Shifter" cards), so you would know which card triggers this effect.
Made this one a long time ago (sports a WotOG watermark!) but it seems really fitting for the theme:

Edited to italicize flavor text.
The realities of war weigh heavily on your opponents’ weaker minions.
Edit: Added quotes around the Deathrattle text and capitalized “Cast.”

Tech against Bomb Warrior as well as a resource generator, turning bad spells to minions.
Reinterpreting the Moonfire card art as the Rager being bathed in the light of how much he loves himself.

Here's my attempt at a reborn card for the latest WCDC: Irked Troll

Flavor text: Shhhh. This will only pinch a bit.
On play: “This is for your own good.”
Attacking: “There, that wasn't so bad, was it?”
Death: “Want a lollipop now?”
